Andy "aTrippyFarmer" Dole is a 6th generation farmer from Central Illinois. On this farm, Andy works alongside his father, Marty, his uncles, Chris and Jeff, and his sister, Katie, to grow corn and soybeans on some of the finest dirt in the world. Andy and his family are deeply rooted in the area, operating a large farm that traces it origins back into the 1800s. Although some tracts did not stand the test of time, Andy and his family still grow corn and soybeans on fields that have been in the family for longer than even the oldest members of the farm have been alive. We do, we have, and we always will take tremendous pride in calling this piece of paradise our home. Andy was a Bronze Tablet graduate of the University of Illinois in the field of Crop Sciences, following the same path as his father and late grandfather.
It would be misleading for Andy to claim that this life is one that came by chance; rather, as a member of two multi-generational farm families, it was simply in his blood. His passion for agriculture traces back to his early youth--some of his fondest, earliest memories being of days spent riding in the combine with his father and grandfather. Although his understanding of the lifestyle was much less complex in the beginning, the love he has for farming, and its industry has only appreciated through time. As this dream blossomed into adulthood, Andy now works relentlessly, and tirelessly, to chase his own dreams and to build a farming operation of his own alongside his family.
We, as a whole operation, are handymen, electricians, mechanics, landscapers, accountants, economists, caretakers, stewards, and, most importantly, farmers, and we take an incredible amount of pride in our work. There is no challenge too overwhelming, no situation too stressful, and no problem too difficult for us to take on, and we want to take you along with us. Welcome to our farm and welcome to our lives. You have the best seat in the house to watch the everyday chaos of farming unfold--we usually only get concerned when things aren't going wrong!

you would love a fendt and much quieter than other tractors
I need to demo one!
I like the direction big brute tractors are taking now you going more simple less complicated. The new equipment is so advanced and there’s just too much technology so much that can go wrong.
Thanks much for all the info Andy. Really great show they put on. So what is the huge upgrade y'all will be making? Looking forward greatly to harvest. Train guy wants to see some trains on the runs to the grain elevator. 😁 Glad you are doing well living on the family farm. Loved the review of the Silverado High Country. Very similar to the GMC AT4 I want to get next. Former Silverado owner, now a GMC convert. God bless to all the families and knock it out of the park with the harvest.
Love you vids Andy, but this sponsor commercial was too much, I don’t mind the sponsor plug that is so common now but this was taking advantage of your subscribers in my opinion. Also drop the click bate titles, again your vids are better than that. Peace
Yeah Sadly for most part Just ignore him.
Love our fendt. I definitely would try to get one out to test!
Fendt is clearly coming after JD. Ultimately that's a good thing for JD people, if they take it the right way. We'll see how they handle it. Hopefully they'll handle the competition better than Cat did. But as far as bigger equipment... I think every industry goes through trying to create the largest equipment possible, but... Usually what happens is people realize the problem is that when it goes down, you're screwed because one piece accounts for such a huge portion of your productivity. The rail industry and airlines have learned this the hard way numerous times, and then scaled back down. The A380 is a perfect example.
Fendt is already ahead of them on quality on tractors
Oh and I had to laugh earlier, coming south out of Mattoon, I saw a combine breaking open a bean field that I thought was one of yours, got up to it and it was a 780 and the driver was wearing a red shirt.. I was like yep, that’s them lol
You mentioned the neighbors Versatile but you missed their new Blue Lonestar sitting right next to Syngenta’s tent ! Lol I’m kinda partial to that new ride !
I had no idea!!!
Still not as cool as a Pete😅
That is a beautiful truck! Hope you get a lot of miles out of her man! See you soon in line at an elevator soon
Awesome content as always. Enjoy the detailed information spot on.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Really cool your involved with the Top CZcams crowd 👍 And better yet your name will be thrown around with the Top AG companies in the world. I wish you all the success because you deserve it buddy 👌
I hope to see you own a Fendt someday!
That would be fun!
The Lexar pre followed by Acuron GT has been our go to program lately, and it’s lights out. Excited to try the new Storen product as well.
Tendovo works awesome as well in Southern Illinois.
Thanks
The Class and Fendt color schemes definitely do grow on a guy just give it time, think of all the mother deere right to repair bs and that really speeds up the process!!
If one thinks right to repair is just a Deere thing, well let's just say the rest are exactly the same.
Yeah what’s wrong with the color scheme they’re PERFECT, let alone they’re sold in multiple color schemes!
@@xSCHEF that is very true!!
@M8Stealth Alot of them are but not all, Deere is by far the worst they have too many cult followers they no longer have to make a competitive product better than the competition's to get your business. The owner of Class (family owed) herself came to the new dealership in our area to check it out and then went to surrounding farmers and talked with them and asked what they could do to better the equipment, that's pretty stand up if you ask me!! Versatile makes everything easy to access for repair and maintenance and they use alot of semi truck components so you have options on places to get parts.
ohh Ron being slick heh 🤣
When I add up all those extra bushels I get nearly 300 bushels total ;)
Man its like Disney land for me I wish I can go to tha farm show one day gracias por tus videos para el mundo amigo
Helllo from durango mexico
I’m team thunder creek fuel trailer for sure!
If u go fendt u never go bk. Especially now John dears prices gone so high!!I'm a John Deere guy but if I could I'd swap my 6250 for same hp 7 series fendt.
I’ve heard they are hard to beat!!!
Which piece of kit you saw at the show do you think would make the most sense to add to the farm, i.e. bring the most value?
I’d avoid Ron like the plague,,,, something might get on you 😂
First time I saw a spot and spray system was 10, no 13 years ago in Australia. It’s just now finding it’s way here and gaining traction. Pretty cool.
Two tracks are no competition for articulated 4 track tractors. Especially in wet conditions. We demoed everything and the case quad trac pulls the best and has best fuel consumption and the transmission is awesome. It is the red piece of equipment we have. Rest is green.
That was the best and most extended commercial for Syngenta ever. They should have (if they didn't) paid you a fortune for that performance.
Landoll gets sold up in Northern alberta and they fall apart lol guys will run to a traditional disc and a cultivator and work those two machines lol too much compaction from no tilling for years so it just rips the unit apart
It takes quad tto handle that cart.
No CASE IH ?
Did you see Laura's Farm and Cole the Cornstar?
Laura and Grant were next to Welkers sprayer when he started it up at the end.
Forget two track tractors
4 track articulating machines are where it’s at the pull amazingly in all conditions and if it’s wet it will severely outperform any 2 track machine. Especially the case quad. But they are all good.
If you don't mind me asking, do you believe the competition of Deere (like Fendt and Claas) is taking away market share in the US?
They are, it’s not wether you think of not they’re growing exponentially!
Wonder how dad feels about that
That I think Fendt makes a nice tractor that is worth considering? Hard to disagree that it wouldn’t be worth the time to demo.
Will herbicides leach into the grain causing food allergies with gluten?
Leach into the grain? That's not how that works.
Fendt is not a new thing on the market hehe, i have told several of my american friends, its just time to change.
Geezuz. 24 min sinGenter commercial
I don't tune in to watch a 30 minute commercial
Me neither but it only took 5-6 seconds to drag thru it.
Had terrible luck with fendt the service was terrible and the gps was a nightmare and def system don’t mean to be a hater but traded it back in for a Deere and had much better luck
That is the one negative that many people mention. It’s hard to beat Deere’s service!
One thing we can always count on parts and service from Deere love the videos keep them up@@aTrippyFarmer
Geeze Louise Andy.....for a report on a farm show, that's the worst Click Bait title ever!!
How? I think it's time to upgrade to a Fendt tractor. There's nothing clickbait about that. It's literally a farm show picture in the thumbnail...
U no learn no steel should touch ur land except 4 a zone till planter its ok u dont know any better
No till no yield!
I would not buy a Fendt!! Parts are made Germany. Take 3-6 month before you get if a dealer do not have in stock. A fairly new tractor sitting across the road field, water pump went out. Wait three months at very time.
Parts are in abundance Fendt is dropping hundreds of millions of dollars in the US market aggressively. They’re shipped from Minnesota and the big dealers all across the US have most of them in supply.
We still live in a world of supply chain issues... Even Deere has trouble
@@Brian-mp6bg You hit the nail on the head there!
Many issues with many suppliers currently.
I’m in Australia. I’ve got 714. Got water pump leak. Part In Melbourne (800 mile away). Road freight here in 2 days. If want air freight,by 9 next morning. They can also get from Austria in Severn days. Also it is a deutz motor so have a second source of supply for engine parts. I think that’s pretty good parts backup from fendt. But we won’t talk about the price though.
Acuron is terrible come on ur not that gullible! Are u?
Acuron is one of the most effective corn herbicides on the market.
