- At the recent EBACE show in Geneva, Textron Aviation showed off a mock-up of the new Citation Ascend business jet’s cabin. The latest model of the XL family also has plenty for pilots to appreciate with the latest Garmin G5000 avionics suite and an autothrottle system that reduces workload. The $16.7 million Ascend is expected to enter service in 2025.

Suspiciously looking like XLS
and it has basically the same engines. PW545C on the XLS# and now the 545D
@@nwintair9697 same cabin size as well, so customers should buy Preator 500
It basically is.
@@brentsmith4206 Thanks.
@@naughtyUphillboyThe reason people pick Cessna, Bombardier, Gulfstream is often nothing to do with price, features, or even performance.
One of the most important thing when buying an aircraft is availability and pilots. No one can afford their aircraft to be offline waiting for parts.
There is a very good reason Netjets recently ordered 1,500 Cessna's, worth 30 billion.
Service availability and pilots available, who are trained on Cessna products. Their worldwide network of service centres is what companies and individuals seek more than anything else.
Very Interesting Business Jet # Interior is too Cool @ Thanks for Sharing 🙂
XLS++
It looks like Cessna has another winning design.
at 2:18 she said " side facing fold down couch" what you gonna do on a couch 2 chairs wide? unless you a toddler you not laying down on that thing LOL
That's true that you probably won't lay down on it, but it's meant to offer a flat surface for extra luggage, small cargo, potentially as an area to set up a food spread, etc. Thanks for watching!
Looks like a good replacement and upgrade to the CJ4.
“Ass End”? Seriously, fire your marketing department and ad agency. Now.
Single pilot ?
Two pilots.
