I had this same feeling when listening to my former mentors. I spent more time during the sermons in a defensive posture trying to discern heresy, because many times that’s what I would hear coming from the people supposed to be teaching me.
I was baptized Catholic and went to church weekly for most of my youthful life in my native country. When I came to the US, I felt lost, and no church I went to felt true, causing me not to attend church for many years. Recently, I felt this thirst and hunger to go back to church, I am still searching. Your videos have helped me relearn what I had forgotten. Thank you for that! I am now praying the holy Rosary daily and find it easier to include the Lord in my day to day. Thank you again, I pray the Lord continue to guide and illuminate you as you continue your path to help lost souls as I was find our way back to the Lord.

I am a cradle Protestant and I’m really considering becoming Catholic. I’m not sure which local Catholic Church to go to but I pray that the Lord Jesus would lead there soon. The only thing in the video that I kind of struggled with was the unbaptized babies thing where you said we could have a good faith hope that they go to heaven but I just can’t imagine that I’m required to hope that much for a baby to go to heaven. There’s no way God in his infinite love and wisdom and mercy and justice would damn a baby
As someone who just received their Holy Sacrament of Confirmation, what should I do next to continue to strengthen my relationship with our Lord? Besides reading scripture and attending Mass, is there anything I am missing?
