The original plans were to fly over the Trebbia River, near the confluence with the river Po', and some other points of interest further south, but unfortunately due to a humid, very humid and hot day, which then turned into a rainy day, it was not possible to go further.
The sky in the footage is not clear blue, but gray and muggy, and this maybe does not help to fully appreciate the beauty of the Trebbia River Regional Park. However, we managed to fly over the river at the height of "Case Buschi" up to the Rivalta Castle, a fortified construction dating back to before the year 1025 (first known deed of sale) which in its thousand and more years of history has witnessed epic clashes and dynastic changes. Here the saga of the Landi family took place, one of the most illustrious and ancient families of Piacenza, who, through periods of political changes and conflicts, forged the castle of Rivalta, transforming it into a sumptuous and strategic residence. From the centuries of contrasts between Guelphs and Ghibellines to the dynamics of the Napoleonic wars, this castle has witnessed numerous events that have shaped its identity and history. Nowadays it's a luxury Resort, which has often hosted members of the English Royal Family for few days of retreat.
Despite the little time available, thanks not only to the weather but also to a technical problem with all the three Razor Crest's batteries, I hope you can appreciate the beauty of this glimpse of the River Park and the Castle which dominates it at this point.

Quanto è favoloso questo video. Non avrei mai potuto pensare a qualche problema tecnico o meteorologico, non si sente. Un volo affascinante per davvero.
Ti ringrazio Anna. Purtroppo la giornata era davvero afosa e questo ha reso il cielo e tutti i colori più spenti. Per quanto riguarda il problema con le batterie, mi hanno limitato sulla distanza che avrei voluto coprire, che è stata purtroppo inferiore a quanto previsto. Ma sono contento che ti sia piaciuto.
