First!!! I got some sewing out of the way …after Jen (from today in Jen’s sewing room) was showing different garments she was going to alter for her daughter I decided I better fix the sleeves for my moms shirt so I did that…I also hemmed some curtains my my coworker lady-friend it’s was all part of my sewing vlog on Wednesday.

I have tried 2 mystery boxes from Olga’s Closet. I heard of them from Ellie and Mac. They have great quality fabric. I got a spring mystery and a fall/winter mystery box and I wasn’t disappointed at all. I got 2+ yards of fabric on all the fabrics in the box. This is my go to for knits before going anywhere else.

Hi. I do not have a fabric budget; I have a fabric problem lol. I said I would not buy any fabric until I sew what I have in bins (a lot of bins). I went to town to get .99 cent simplicity patterns from Joanns and spent over $50. in two different thrift stores yesterday on sewing supplies and more fabric. I have been sewing for less than a year and sew pretty slow. I am sure I have more than 2 years of fabric to sew. I have a mystery box coming Saturday (my fourth box); they are so much fun. I also have more buttons than I will ever need from thrift store bundles. Thanks for all your videos. I really appreciate you and all the sewing community CZcams videos.

I need a sewing budget because my buying sewing fabric and notion is a problem. Besides all that I am overwhelmed with all the projects I need to make. I need to write it down in my journal “My Daily Threadz” and be faithful doing that.

I thought your mystery box of fabrics was fun. Just be aware tho, that thermal knit grows, and grows. I made a henley, same pattern & size as 2 others I had made & after wearing, it stretched out at least a size bigger. It is a really nice fabric to sew & cozy to wear. Loved your mom calling in the middle of your recording. ❤

I bought a mystery box from fabric mart. All the prices were over 2 yards. The box was supposed to contain 20 yards I got 28 yards. I was very happy with the variety and quality.

yes i have a day job outside of the home...I just love to sew so much...I wake up early...like 5 or 6 am to get some time in to sew...then I have a 9-5 job.
No budget for me. The turquoise spandex piece of fabric might make a nice sports bra depending on how thick it is.

I have done that twice-one had some cute fabrics for the most part; the other box was a total disappointment! Buyer beware.
Thats what I was afraid of...but it turned out okay but I need to not get caught up in the excitement.
I need to be on a ban for the rest of my life.
I have way too much and did so much COVID and stress shopping that I bought more fabric than what I can sew up. Lol. Need to just concentrate on cutting out and sewing until there’s only 25% left. That will probably take a very long while. Lol
