Oh little girl I’m so sorry that you’re sick. What a bad time of the year to be sick with so much to do. I hope you kick it off soon. Your bedroom looks fabulous as always. Something about your bedroom really is inviting and cozy. I believe the first video I ever watched of yours you were decorating in your master bedroom. I love how you put the three ribbons together on your tree that looks so good. Over the years I’ve struggled with making the ribbon look good on my trees so last year I cut it in 6 inch strips and just started tucking it in and I liked it much better and it was so much easier. I always do a little something in my bedroom. This year I dug out an old tree I had for many many years ago. I don’t even remember what I used it for back then but it’s about 5 foot tall and I put it in the bedroom on a blank wall between two closets and all I have on it is pinecones and lights. My bedding is cream colored and I have on there two cream decorator pillows and a black one in the middle that says come let us adore him that I got from Hobby lobby. On the end tables I have a Few a little pieces and in my dressing area I have a wicker basket that has different candle sticks and a Clock with a little bird perched in there and some pics surrounding it all. It was just leftover stuff but it turned out pretty cute. That’s about all I do in my master bedroom.Every year in my planner I do a Christmas critique. I write down what went well and what I need to do different and one of the things I put down last year was to be more intentional with the decorating and don’t just put out everything I have. But it seems like as the days go on I keep going out and bringing more stuff in. Ha. What turned out the best for me this year was my mantle. I just love how it came out. thank you for all the inspiration that you give us with decorating and from the word of God. You are a blessing to me. Love in Christ

What a festive yet cozy space. I love your tree, especially the topper you created. The bedding is beautiful, my mom always did the flat sheet the way you do, that brought back memories. Yes I do decorate our bedroom. We have a queen size high 4 poster bed that is dressed in black and tan buffalo check curtains and a pillow ticking bedspread. The curtains are a black and ivory toile. Sooo, a tree in the window, a wreath over the headbord, greens in the book case and candles, candles in the bookcase thanks to flameless. I would leave the books in your dresser vingnette, I like the a symetrical look. Your looks are amazing and very attainable and that is what I like. Thanks so much for sharing and for the Bible verse.

Your bedroom looks gorgeous! I decorated our master bedroom for the first time last year and I loved it so I’m planning on doing it again this year. You’ve definitely given some ideas on a couple of things to incorporate into my bedroom decor this year. I like the books in your vignette on the chest. I think it ties in nicely with the book pages tree on the opposite side of the vignette so I vote for keeping the books! Have a great day!

Your bedroom is just so cosy, I love it. I could easily curl up there and sleep. I've started my decorating for Christmas but after the dreaded C, I have to pace myself as still not on 100% energy. I do decorate my own bedroom though and have a little tree with lights on it as well as my small tier tray.. Hope you feel better soon. Love from Sue on yet another pouring wet day here in the UK. X
Hi Amy. I'm glad you made the comment about why you do your sheet as you do. I do the same and it's so much prettier. I learned that from Martha Stewart. Lol. I normally just use solid white sheets now. I say add another tree. It would look like little house is in a forest. My favorite of all of it is the little sleigh with all the decor. Beautiful!!!
