Really enjoyed getting to know and listening to Naftali Bennett. As a former ambassador in Israel it is not elegant or proper to take positions in domestic internal politics. But all my support to the Prime Minister, and respect for those that have held that position.

For all who don’t know, it is MANDATORY for everyone in Israel (except Orthodox Jews) to serve in the military when they get to 18 years old. There’s discussion about this exception going on since they benefit from the military protection of their country.

In the USA, we have a group called the Amish, they have special waiver for not serving in our military.
In times of war many who don't believe in taking a life still serve in military as medics. 🇨🇦🙏❤️🇮🇱
