Discover 'Khulumanaye,' a captivating song from the Grammy-nominated 'Inala - A Zulu Ballet'. This showcase from the 2019 West End Run highlights the unique blend of Zulu and ballet traditions, choreographed by Mark Baldwin OBE.
Produced by Sisters Grimm, 'Inala' unites cultures through music and dance, receiving global acclaim since its 2014 debut. Featuring the energetic Pantsula dance, 'Khulumanaye' has graced prestigious stages, from the Royal Variety Performance to Hampton Court Palace.
This release offers a glimpse of 'Inala's' mesmerizing performances, including those at the Royal Albert Hall. Celebrate the legacy of Joseph Shabalala, Ladysmith Black Mambazo founder, whose collaboration with Ella Spira MBE birthed this magnificent fusion of art forms.
2024, holds special significance as it marks 30 years since Nelson Mandela's inauguration as the first Black president of South Africa. During this time, he declared INALA’s song co-writer, Joseph Shabalala and Ladysmith Black Mambazo, the all-male A Capella Zulu choir he founded, a national treasure of South Africa.
