The day I went to Sanjeong Lake, I tried to capture the driving scenery on a snowy day in a video. Because of the sudden heavy snow, we all crawled like turtles, and when we reached the road that had been sprayed with calcium chloride, the camera lens got a lot of snow & calcium chloride so we couldn't take videos anymore. I'm glad I put snow tires in advance. So shall we run together?

산정호수에 갔던 날, 눈오는 날 운전 풍경을 영상에 담아 보았습니다. 갑작스럽게 폭설이 쏟아진 관계로 다들 거북이처럼 기어가다가, 염화칼슘을 많이 뿌린 도로에 접어드니 카메라 렌즈에 염화칼슘과 눈이 많이 묻어서 더이상 촬영이 되지 않았네요 ㅠㅠ 그래도 스노우타이어로 미리 끼워놓아서 다행입니다. 그럼 함께 달려 보실까요?

This is definitely one of my favorite adventure places.

Just got in on a cold overcast grey day, opened the screen to a beautiful winter wonderland. Thanks for getting stuck behind a cautious trucker, it gives time to see the landscape and it’s magical. I love that even in farmland there are still those pretty painted walls. Ohh the crunch of snow on those wheels.Ankers! ankers! I don’t drive and I’m hitting the breaks😂😂. So is this travelling from the east to Seoul ? There are such long ranges of hills/mountains surrounding the road. Ohh this is no good my travel bucket list is getting longer with these visits. Thank you once again for allowing us a glimpse of your beautiful country.💜
Yes. On snowy day, it is not a good idea to pass cars unless they are extremely slow. This is from North to south. The lake is very close to DMZ. 20~30 minutes.

Before I started this channel, I enjoyed it over the windows. But, It's different now..lol.

I always do especially on snow day. I always use snowtire and carry snow chains when I visit mountain areas.

서울이 가까워질수록 길이 혼잡해지는 걸 느껴지네요. 눈이 많이 내리는 날 수고하셨습니다.
평일이어서 그런것도 있어요 ㅎㅎ 눈도 많이 왔고.
서울 근처는 커녕 구리포천고속도로 구리방향쪽으로 첫 진입하는 램프 대략 500미터 전 쯤에서 영상이 끝나는 것 같은데.. 여전히 포천지역이고.. 신내나 중랑까지 여전히 30분 이상은 운전해야 하는 지점이구만..

For me, image of Mustang is for sunny day and hard to imagine the snow day driving...lol.

Beautiful! Which month the snow starts and ends? Really winter wonderlands i have cold feet now😂 it’s also cold here but no snow. I can only see this when i am on a train going to city, but very rare now, by car it is scary if you get stuck.
Generally, Early march is the last time of the snow... But, after mid of Feb, there are less chance of snow.

I am just wondering, how fast you supposed to drive on a road in a heavy snow? It seems unsafe.
It is 16mm wide-angle lens, so it looks faster than it really is. It was just 40-50 km with snowtire.

How much snow is considered a blizzard there? Does it snow alot there? It looks peaceful and quite there. These past 2 yrs we haven't had much snow. Due to climate change. We are going to get a little bit tomorrow but not much. Does it get below zero there? How quick does the snow melt there? Even if it doesn't snow in the city it dies snow alot in the mountains here. I am from Colorado.curious to know. In New Mexico they close everything down if it's a light dusting of snow. A blzzard here is 2 to 3 ft of snow. In the city. In the mountains we get 5ft of snow or more at times. We have lots of ski areas here.

It depends on the region, but over 10~20 cm is generally considered as blizzard in Seoul. Mountain areas are over 1 ft I think.
We don't get as much snow as your mountains. ;-)
Thank you for responding. I was very curious at how much snow you recieve. It's nice to be able to learn about other places. Is it hard to drive in the snow. It is here. But it also gets very icy so there's alot of sliding with the cars. One good thing here. Our snow sometimes will melt really fast. And sometimes it last 4 to 5 days. So one minute you can be out in the cold and by noon. It's warm enough to enjoy the sunshine. Our weather is crazy here. You definitely dress in layers here. That year, I bought the local epic pass for the ski resorts and it was one of my life's best time. My fav was Beaver Creek, but liked Telluride in Autumn.
