I have never heard anyone talk about an experience which was similar to mine. The recovery for our bodies takes days, weeks, or months. But for our mental health? it stays with us for years. and when Tom said how he could even feel it now talking about it... jesus I relate so much to that. It just comes over you when you least expect it, both in public and private. Palpitations, pins and needles all over the body , hot and sweaty, nausea, about to pass out ... I wish the people who do this got sentenced to spend 12 months community service, either in rehab units / charities related to ptsd from attacks, armed robberies, rapes etc. Thank you Jack and Stevie for handling this with genuine care and respect, and how mindful you were for your guest. This may sound strange but would you consider talking more about your underbite surgery and maybe what drove you to go down the surgery route? I’d love to hear about how you felt at that time because I am planning to go through with the same procedure myself
I’ve never had the procedure nor do I suffer with an underbite but at the end of the day mate if you wanna get the surgery done then get it done for you and not to impress others

@@Vert-. that’s okay mate! It applies to anything in life though tbh, sometimes you have to be selfish and put yourself first ans you shouldn’t feel guilty about that
I had an underbite and got double jaw surgery at the same hospital Jack had his done. Best decision i ever made, i was so self conscious and never smiled or laughed without covering my mouth. Of course it wasn't a cosmetic procedure as i struggled to eat properly etc but it definitely helped my confidence so if it's bothering you in anyway, go for it! Although be prepared it takes a while to recover, i had my mouth wired shut and had to eat through a syringe for quite a few weeks lol, but i would do it all over again if i had too!
