I do wonder if Zero hadn't developed feelings for Jude, as opposed to them just being business, although he obviously liked, trusted and appreciated him beforehand. If he'd found out about the drugs another way, if he'd let Jude drown, so as to take down Derrick? And yes, badass and the sexiest man on the show.
By the way, Zero and Derrick's personal war sometimes makes me smile, because I saw photos of the cast from behind the scenes and I know that Adam and McKinley had a very good relationship :) Even better than Adam and Brent had (I think).
