As a former Yellowstone player, try joining some groups that do sessions where you’re in a pack or herd! Me and my friend often played as a realistic cougar duo or wolf pack or herd or whatever and it was so fun!
I hope you will give this game another play! The reason you were so isolated for the majority of the video was because you spawned at Caldera, which is kind of an unpopular part of the map because its the farthest spawn, most players will reset to get a new spawn from there lol. Tip: if you alternate between hunter and mammal on the menu you can basically select your spawn!

Its funny how ysu players are fine with mix packing but they complain when a herbivore prey animal fights back or when they get killed bc someone doesn't like mix packing or their doing a realism herd/group
or walk straight up to a bunch of hungry carnivores like wolves and get shocked and angry when they get killed by them

it's so easy :> but i use a Pronghorn, i like alone cause i don't trust others in the game
Surviving solo as elk is really hard i think tho, because of wolfs and other carnivores can kill you easily. Specially bears.
And yes they added major updates and new animals

Agreed, i was tyig to survive in a wolf herd but then the lead started hanging out at with a group of eagles, bison, cougars, elk, i didn't say anything cuz i would've gotten killed

@@A_Rainworld_Fan. bro I can relate to that I would join a horse herd then out of the blue we would randomly start mixing with bears and cougars (main predators of horses) and I couldn't do anything to avoid getting ganged up on even if I really hated mixpacking
