I know. Plus you add that card with the raven manager....I got through faction wars without him taking a lot of damage. Now if only they can fix the glitching in faction wars. Lost 3 tix even when I was winning.
I realized there's some type of glitch (not sure if it's only my game) where if you're standing on the apron, Cody WILL NOT attack you at all. Using a striker, I just stood there and kept punching him, taking advantage of this glitch by taunting , turning his head red and doing my signature and finisher everytime he got stunned ( Which is obvious when he's standing there all dizzy). I also took the opportunity to do my ten light attacks while he was stunned Because he reversed every single punch i threw at him, otherwise. It's a little tedious but it's kind of funny.And it's an easy way to beat the match four times within about forty minutes. I just didn't feel like the challenge today.I wasn't having it lol. If this works for anyone else please let me know, i'm curious. Also get this live event over with before they fix it😂.
I noticed that yesterday as I was doing Sherri and when you are on the apron they just stand there but I didn't take advantage of it but when you're outside and they go to the top rope they don't attack and you can get on the apron and attack them.
I beat it the hard way not noticing the glitch..may try it again just to see if it still works though 😂

Thanks for the tip! It worked for me too. I couldn’t be bothered trynna beat him straight up or win by count out. Mf reverses EVERYTHING and starts with 3 finishers 😭😂

Here's the strat for people still needing help with the Cody Rhodes Challenge. I got this from another CZcamsr (don't remember his name, sorry, but all credit to him). Use Sheamus because he has "Going In Hot." Immediately get out of the ring. Whatever you do, NEVER fight Cody in the ring. Especially at the start of the match because he starts with 3 Finishers. If you stay in the ring, he'll immediately hit you with the Triple Cross Rhodes and end the match in 5 seconds. So once you're out of the ring, wait for him to come out after you, then spam Light Attack. You'll get a few free hits on him if you hit him immediately after he gets out of the ring because he can't reverse the hits. Just make sure you hit him immediately. You'll know you did it right if you haymaker him across the back.
At this point, just Light Attack until the cows come home. Go for those points. If he reverses you, reverse him back when he counter attacks. He will ALWAYS go for a strike in retaliation. So as long as you learn the reversal timing for that strike, Cody won't ever be able to counter attack you off a Light Attack Reversal. Now he will, occasionally, try to Irish Whip you into the ring. If you know the reversal timing for that, Cody is screwed. If not, it doesn't matter. We'll get to why in a moment. The other thing he'll try to do once in a while is the Pedigree (when he has a Sig). Like, 8 times out of 10, I'll end up reversing that with the Light Attack Reversal Timing. So as long as you can consistently reverse Cody's counter attack Light Strike, you'll end up reversing his Pedigree attempt by accident most of the time. I would recommend trying to learn the reversal timing for the Cross Rhodes, but it's not necessary and it's a PAIN to reverse. Also, and this is important, don't be afraid to throw in 2 or 3 Grounded Head Grapples to get Cody's head Red. It's vital that you get that challenge. I'll tell you why later.
So now we come to why Sheamus is the best choice. His "Going In Hot" will save your life. You'll get Sig fast. Work his Sig in where you can to get those points early. Don't do it super early, though, or Cody will reverse it. I would say, wait until you get the first Light Attack points, then go for it, then you can get you taunt points after that. Once you've hit your Sig, never use it again. You know how I said Cody using Irish Whip to toss you back into the ring isn't a big deal? Yeah this is why. As long as you never use your Sig, you'll always have Special Meter. If Cody gets lucky and Irish Whips you into the ring, immediately use your kip-up and get out of the ring.
And now we come to the crucial part of my version of this strategy. NEVER USE YOUR FINISHER. You read that right. Just hang on to it. Work on your points. Get them up to 75. Once they're at 75, knock Cody down and let the ref count. If you do it right, Cody will get up around the 5. NOW hit him with the Brogue Kick. Then slide into the ring and wait. If you're super anxious, just Wake-Up Taunt him at the 9 count. Just keep an eye on him after you've Brogue Kicked him. And this is why I say to never use your finisher. It's because you want to ensure that you have it at the moment you need it. It's, literally, the key to cheesing Cody. So you remember how I said the "Red Head" Challenge is the most important challenge to get? Yeah this is why. With his head red, if you hit Cody with a Brogue Kick, it will guarantee stun him. Basically Brogue Kick plus Red Head equals Cody is done. This is also why you don't want to Brogue Kick before, at least, the 5 count.
In my opinion, you want a Striker for this. You can probably do it with anyone, but a Striker is the best role for this. Why? Because they consume the least amount of Stamina, which you need because you have no HUD and, therefore, can't tell if you have Stamina or not. And their point challenges are the hardest to counter. And, if you are countered, as I mentioned above, Cody will always do the same move to counter attack which makes Cody easy to counter as well.
Technicians require Red Limb Damage which is just a recipe for disaster in this challenge. Powerhouses require Heavy Attacks and/or Grapples (personally I use, exclusively, Heavy Grapples with Powerhouses because those count for both challenges at the same time). The problem here is that Heavy Attacks and Grapples consume a LOT of Stamina. If you're just spamming that stuff, you'll run out of Stamina quickly and you won't know it until it's too late.
Then we have High Flyers. This would be my second choice because you can employ the "Springboard Cheese" to screw Cody over. Two problems with this, though. First is that Springboard requires you to be in the ring. I mean, you COULD do it from the apron to ringside, but those can be countered whereas the in-ring one can't. The second is that, a High Flyer consumes about as much Stamina as a Powerhouse. Running and Diving consume insane amounts of Stamina. So, again, you'll run into having no Stamina and not realizing it until it's too late. The other issue with going High Flyer is that, currently, the only Amethyst High Flyer in the game is Rey. Who was a Live Event Reward. So if you missed out on that, you're SOL.
As for Strikers, Sheamus is the currently the only Striker who has "Going In Hot," hence why he's the "Meta" pick. He's also the only Striker in the game, so far, with a Tier 4 (Gold) Heavy Handed, which means if you weave in Heavy Strikes here and there, you can stun Cody rather quickly and keep him stunned. And his Neutral Heavy Strike is hard to reverse because it's a High Knee to the face. And since you're going to be doing Light Attack Combos constantly anyway, it's not that much more effort or time to randomly through in a Heavy Attack to end the combo once in a while just to proc the stun. Add in the fact that his Brogue Kick is a Running Attack and he really is the best card to use for this challenge. I wish you all luck with this challenge which, if you know the the strategy and can execute said strategy (easier said than done), is little more than an annoyance.
Having said all that... Fuck This Challenge. Removing the HUD was a step too far. Not having Reversal Prompts against a Galaxy Opal that has, basically, infinite Stamina, and starts the match with all three finishers and has a Super Finisher is a challenge. Adding the removal of the HUD is just BS. And, no, I don't consider having to cheat to win to be a challenge. That's just poor game design. In my opinion, if the challenge was properly designed, you shouldn't have to cheat to win. But three of the last four card "challenges" have all been "cheat to win." I'm talking, of course, about Dijak, Blair, and this one. They are all poor game design and utter BS.

@@lorisdibella6521 Brogue Kick is a Running Move. So just run at your opponent and hit "Finisher" when you have a Finisher stock. I play on PS4 and it's R1 and X. So on XBOX, that would be RB and A, I think.

I used Rey Mysterio 06 to complete this. Hit all diving and springboards and signature. throw Cody to the outside. Taunts and then proceed running attacks. Hit finisher around 7-8 and get in before 10. If anything hit a wake up taunt around 9 since the ref like to bs around with the count. He will
Be groggy but won’t recover in time.

The easiest way to win this match is count out. High Fliers and Strikers are best because you can get their tasks easily.

It was tough, Ironically, winning dusty Rhodes was my very first win. I did all of it by cout out.
The asuka / manifestation event, does have some modifiers. The manifestation starts with 3 finishers (like the recent Cody one) and can rebuild their stamina twice as quick as us. It is falls count anywhere so nowhere is safe.
4:42 I've been doing a lot of grinding MFP using various matches. And faction wars soh I can get final boss rock. I just recently reached 301563 MFP. Based on the math, it costs a little over 500000 to get Final boss rock with the 5 cards required needed, but I'm trying to grind to get over a million MFP. Please wish me the best at my attempt for this mission.
Hardest live event by far but once you time the cross rhodes and the advantage of ringside and combos you can win

That live event against the Manifestation for the Asuka card has me hopeful that maybe, just maybe, the Asuka card will be a later requirement for a Manifestation persona card. Perhaps an evo card or a diamond card when that tier comes. I've always hated how MyRise characters were locked to MyRise. It's hard to get invested in the characters/story when you know you can't expand upon it later in exhibition or universe mode. Also, I just plain like the concept of the Manifestation, and I wish there were character creation parts of her or a playable version of her from modders like WhatsTheStatus.
I ain’t gonna lie I had trouble at first I was getting so agitated at it, but I managed to get the live event done on my main Xbox account and my alt Xbox account was so worth it especially for that dusty rhodes card and Damien Priest Evo card one more thing I’m not trying to complain, but I don’t see the point of free agent cards in my faction. They are completely useless. It’s like a slap in the face like come on 2K. Why couldn’t that Jey uso have been an actual amethyst card that didn’t have only three uses of it
I used Dirty Dom & Persona Roman for that Cody Live Event & all wins were pins! Definitely tough facing an Opal but I like how they did the Event with leaving you guess about Stamina/Finishers etc! Also hyped for that alternate Amethyst Asuka tomorrow!
If they did live events like this with persona cards, I wouldn't complain and it will make it worth the grind/challenge
On the cody one, best thing to do is just stay outside the ring
Gunther was the answer for me nobody else came close, also had to kick out of a impossible pin, vid is in my channel btw if anyone is interested, but fr tho I was so confused about this and just used Gunther, and lost maybe 4 times and won 4 times using Gunther, using anybody else I lost like 2 times
After I dealt damage I always tried to make him tap so I knew if he used resiliency it was a good strat

While I agree that there are too many duplicate cards in MyFaction, I think I know why they're giving us an Asuka in Live Event. It's probably for people who don't want to try to pull her from the Pack. Also, there are bound to be people who would rather have the "real" Asuka rather than the Demastered Version. Personally, I think it's rather kind of them to attempt to cater to both types of players. The problem I have is that the Live Event Asuka is the, objectively, better card. That's, to a degree, a slap in the face to the people who pulled for her out of the Pack.
I enjoyed this one. I like these more challenging ones.
I got all the rewards it was tough I fought him on the outside and counted him out after getting my 90 he would use his finishers outside sometimes i probly did this a dozen times
Nakamura is the person to use, because his strikes are difficult to block. I got Dusty on the first try with Nak.
You should have your full signature with Shemus right at the start of the match

I played this earlier today and noticed the stamina and health bar was missing and I thought it was a glitch it’s gonna be really hard to tell when you have a signature or finisher

You should go for it is totally worth it. Plus evolving it to an amethyst is CRAZY simple. I recommend weekly towers, week 1, match 2 against an easy Carmelo Hayes because there's unlimited stamina, so spamming light attacks is a breeze.
Don't sleep on him. Once you evolve him and add the raven manager....he can zero out an opponents,' health with 2-3 combo strikes. He's crazy strong.

These live events are getting worse. Galaxy opal? I barely even bother with them at present. Not worth the aggregation. That’s not even fun.

Some of the battles are really unbalanced and unfair. Has kinda made me less interested in collecting cards. Fighting a card 3 levels above you is super cheap

Got all 4 done with the strike stun trick with him on outside of the ropes and u standing on aprion its great for head damage and finish n sig build up if he runs out the ring after 1 or 2 hits then get in the ring til he runs back in i believe there was a comment on here so thanks to that person for that strat its little boring but works now i can upgrade damien :)
I saw the NWO my faction wars. Myfaction. I got kicked off after I got to th match for the run. It happened twice, so I lost 2 tickets.
