- Not much RNG here, just make sure to have environment set pain on Dewey before he attacks on turn 2. Can equip Yipha AS here with more SPR for some more damage. Mazrika doesn't need SA here at all. Iphi is mainly here to have Mazrika be on permanent cover status.
Mazrika is equipped to the brim with fire resistance, combined with her innate fire resistance because she is water, makes her near immune to water magic.
No light or shadow requirements here. Mazrika doesn't need her SA here either.
Boss recovers full hp if you end any turn with it below 50% hp. And because environment does fixed max hp % damage every turn, you must finish each HP bar within limited turns but at the same time never let it go below 55%. It is possible for free teams to do this but will take way too much effort and a little mistake may reset the progress.
If any of your party members get HP too low, everyone gets -100% status, meaning you will need double badge on one character to be stun immune so guardian characters are a little useless here.
Using a character equipped with 75-100% fire resistance and having them cover the stopper damages is the main survival strat here.

You can try with adjustments, because will not have enough hits, so will definitely want to AF later on. dewey state will go away otherwise
Is this a watered down tower master from the last main story updated? I don't feel the damage witg this one.
It’s because it’s possible to make a 100% counter to this but not as much for the tower master. And the main issue is the damage needed for this in one shot.
I love that you have a strat that doesn't use AF (or SA). However, I don't understand how Mazrika gets a 97% fire type resistance. I have the exact same equipment (including the lev 10 weapon) and grasta, and a level 94 Maz (with 30 shadow), so her base stats are all higher than what you show. But my Mazriki gets only 78% fire type resistance. And the boss just destroys her, even though she should have cover from Iphi. Dewey easily does a complete kill each turn, but the boss kills a team member every turn.

@@Seven7AE Thanks for the quick response. Yes, I have everything the same EXCEPT I don't see any impact from the innate water. As far as I know, I can only see the details of the equipment, etc., when not in battle. And so I see just 78% fire under "Type/Attack Resistance." And in the battle she gets hit a lot more than "0" and dies (she gets one revive from the blood contract, but then gets killed again next turn). I can post a video if that would help.
OK, I found my problem. My "Fire Type Resistance" badge is the 10% one. I will see if I can find the 25% one in the hidden chest.

Can try to replace with some water debuffer like hismenia alter, maz is more there for that extra hit
