Everyone keeps saying that the show borrowed the scene of Barry getting turned to dust from the Young Justice TV show, but it is actually a reference to the comic book *Crisis on Infinite Earths*. Harrison Wells even mentions that there are "infinite earths" when asked how many earths are in the multiverse.
I knew as soon as zoom showed up. They wanted us to guess who he is. But in the comics every one knew it was hunter zolomon. What the writer's did was switch names to hunter to jay . Making us guess who is the man in the mask . That's when they added a new thing . So we can focus on the man in the mask instead of zoom .
But it is cool tho . I know next season will suck cause the writer's on this show will go to dc legends. No rumor or prediction arrow and the flash will suck next season. Then before that arrow will be bad ass while the flash and dc legends will suck lol see I hope to god they don't have the same writter's for super girl
It all makes sense now. The flash we saw in season 1 that told Barry not to save his mom was a future FUTURE Barry after the events of the flashpoint paradox. I bet at the end of season 3 we'll see Barry run back in time like in flashpoint and stop himself and tell his past PAST self not to save his mom
This "reset" will prove beyond doubt, if Arrow showrunners and writers are pandering to olicity fans or not... because with this RESET, they can bring back Laurel AND make her a Meta.. not to mention bring back other characters likes; Arsenal, Wild Cat, Huntress etc. we could even potentially have a whole new cast on either show... because the DC universe has now been reset back to when Berry was a little kid... so things could happen very, very differently this time!
Khalil Gordon He screwed up his extended family (Joe, Iris, Wally) and his friends with his actions. He's also repeatedly seen the wraiths punish those who mess up the timeline but yet he still does it. The guy is just incredibly selfish and it makes me dislike him as a character.
A, He saw the wraiths twice and is confident the speedforce won't try to kill him. B, If you had powers and could prevent a tragedy in your life, wouldn't you try to do it C, In his head it stops everything bad that every happens if his mom never dies...if you look at it everything links back to that

MRocky323 They are technically two different aspects of Death personified. I have also read a comic where Nekron is said to be another aspect of Death and is basically the same as Black Racer and Black Flash (even though he is not the same). The difference would be what they do; Black Flash is for speedsters, and Nekron is basically the physical avatar of Death (or at least the Void). Black Racer was a regular guy, Willie Walker to be precise, who was paralyzed and later given powers by Darkseid. The difference between the two (Black Flash and Black Racer) is that while Black Racer is basically the Grim Reaper (also the Grim Reaper for the New Gods, as he came to take Orion's soul), Black Flash is the Grim Reaper of speedsters alone. PS: I believe it was Wally West who suggested that Black Flash and Black Racer were the same in the *Final Crisis* storyline, although it was never clarified if his assumption was correct or not.
I still kinda feel like wb kinda fucked it up with them pretty much not letting then use the suicide squads , like I'm not saying that it would be the best but I think it wouldn't be so shitty , and I love arrow but this season was just all over the place I liked the last episode but still I just didn't like this season n I know also people hated last season as well but I liked 3 it had better moment n my favorite is 2
Brittany they won't spend an entire season in flashpoint. They'll probably spend a small handful of episodes in this flashpoint then Barry will go back to the season 1 finale scene and stop himself from saving his mom (like we saw happen in the season 1 finale).
Eobard Thawne No, in the s1 finale, we saw a future Barry stop our Barry from saving his mom. So I believe that sometime in season 3, we will see that scene happen again but from our Barry's POV; as he will live through the consequences of saving his mom (s2 finale) and will later decide to go back in time and stop himself from doing so (but "future Barry" will be our present Barry and s1 Barry would be the past Barry).

I got really scared for a minute when Zoom tried to kill Caitlin! I didn't even suspect that Caitlin was actually a hologram. That was a good twist that took me by surprise. I was relieved that Caitlin was okay.
Two things. 1) Jay Garrick was actually part of the Justice Society of America. I would LOVE it if they brought Jay onto Legends of Tomorrow since they now introduced the JSA. 2) In Flashpoint Paradox, the multiverse is combined into 1. I don't know if you've heard this already, but Supergirl is going to be coming to the CW now, which is gonna make the show a LOT better. This whole, "combining the multiverse" thing caused by Flashpoint Paradox is a great way to bring Supergirl into the fold. (Also, rumor is that Superman is gonna be in the first two episodes of Supergirl when it airs on CW. The new owner of Warner Brothers is going to be very lenient with using characters on tv shows. So now, they can bring on Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, and a bunch of others now!)

Don't forget Earth 2. Barry's mom was alive in that, and because of that he married Iris and Joe hates him. But.... Cisco was Vibe and Caitlin was Killer Frost and Ronnie was Deathstorm. Really want to see more of Vibe/Evil Cisco LOL ;P
This is probably incorrect, but here's my understanding of a time remnant: Creating a time remnant establishes a time loop that stops only when the remnant dies (NOT the original). Basically, a time remnant is an expendable/sacrificial version of yourself, but it's a risky thing to do since it does create a time loop, and things could go horribly wrong. Also on the plus side we may get more of Matt Letscher and/or Tom Cavanagh as Eobard Thawne next season which will be awesome.
My guess is that Barry causes the Flashpoint Paradox here, which then merges Supergirl's world with his. Perhaps some ripple will find it's way into Arrow and Legends? Who knows? Flashpoint is a HUGE event, almost as big as the Infinite Crisis
The way I see it is Season 1 Barry tries to save his mum and Season 3 Barry is the one who tells him not to, he then takes kid Barry outside to save him from Thawne while Season 2 Barry appears and saves his mum, he's then gonna return to present day (in season 3) and see how everything got f***ed up (this show's version of Flashpoint happens) and then he'll go back to that night as Season 3 Barry to both tell Season 1 Barry not to save his mum and to stop Season 2 Barry from ever going back to save his mum in Season 2 finale. Yeah my brain hurts too.
Hunter Zolomon isnt dead, if you watch while the demon things attacked him, his lightning bolt turned red... He became Black Flash, the speedsters version of the entity "Death"
I have a theory about this finale. After Barry went back in time and stopped the Yellow Flash, the other Barry. Which could mean events have been changed. Which ALSO could mean that Snart may or may not still be alive, in the present. But...I'm no expert on time travel, this is just a theory
OK it simple (I jest)... they are doing Flashpoint Paradox. Seeing Season 1 Barry disappear at his parents house after Season 2 Flash saves his Mom means Barry never became the Flash. Barry's father doesn't go to jail, his mother lives, he never grows up with Joe or Iris. He will come back to Star Labs when he left and probably find the real DrWells there, surprised and wondering who this guy in a red suit is. Since Barry may not have been where he was when the reactor blew he may return and find he even has no powers. Its also possible he will return and find a geeky non-meta version of himself there, and now is himself a man outside of time. A paradoxical entity. Arrow gets reset also since Barry may not have been able help Oliver and that changes the whole sequence of events there. Since the Legends cast was in that weird no-time zone when Barry made the changes, they may not be effected memory wise, except that when they return they find everything changed in 2016 or even back to 2014 (maybe even earlier). Also this opens the door for Supergirl to appear on Earth One now, instead of the alternate Earth Barry found her on (along with Superman BTW). So this could mean all of Flash is totally reset, some of Arrow is reset, etc.
Easter Eggs and Predictions for Season 3 Include: - Zoom becoming the Black Flash - When the time reminant of Barry Allen dies, that is similar to how he dies in the comics - If Barry's mum doesn't die, even though Barry may still be The Flash (You can tell this because his current self never faded away, nor did his costume) Without her death, Barry would have never lived with Joe or Iris, Harrison wells would not have helped him get faster, Barry would have never opened the portal to Earth 2, The likelyhood of him knowing Cisco and Catlyn would be low. - We know that the Earth 2 storyline still exists, otherwise Barry would cease to exist there because he would not have gone back, which also means that there is a point to return to. - Jesse Quick will become a speedster. Earth 1 Harrison Wells now lives because The Reverse Flash no longer needs to kill him to take his body. He will most likely be similar to Harry from Earth 2 yet not the same as Eobard Thawne, but the important thing about it is that he will be able to have a child, which will be Jesse. Whilst Harry (Earth 2) directed the blast underground to avoid injuring to many people, Harrison (Earth 1) might not have done that, meaning Jesse would have been caught in the blast. This gives The CW the ability to create Jesse Quick (A Speedster) and more importantly, a possible Side Kick for The Flash. - Wally West VS The Black Flash. At the end of this episode, Zoom is turned into The Black Flash. Though Barry Allen as The Flash may not face him again in the show, Wally West faced off against The Black Flash in the comic books. The Black Flash caused a lot of havoc, due to being incredibly hard to kill because he is already dead. But Wally (The Flash) managed to defeat him by racing the Black Flash to the end of time, where Death has no meaning and The Black Flash vanished. Since both characters are alive and well, it is possible this could happen in season 3. - Grodd. Yes, he is still alive remember? He is one of Barry Allen's most formidable enemies and on Earth 2, Grodd is only getting stronger and smarter. The build up from season 1 with Grodd is hopefully going to be approaching it's finale as I have strong beliefs that Grodd is now strong enough to be the main villain for Season 3. -Grodd can now start taking over Earth 2 with his Gorilla army. That is right, Gorilla army. Team Flash decided to send Grodd to a Gorilla sanctuary with gorillas similar, but nowhere near as powerful, to him. Without Zoom to stop him, Grodd now has the chance to seize control.
Don't forget that Eobard went back in time to kill his mom BECAUSE Barry was the Flash and he hated him (He had his mom and he WAS the Flash). Then he became Wells and basically created Barry. But did he create a totally different version of Barry by killing his mom? If Barry saves his mom, is he going to become the Flash that Eobard hates? Maybe then it will be a recurring time loop. Barry becomes the Flash, Eobard kills his mom and creates a new Flash and then Barry prevents it all from happening causing the time loop to restart.

That's what it was, Flashpoint! They even teased it in the episode before the last one, where he's strapped to that device. I was think to myself "where could they possibly go from here", and then...BOOM, the Flashpoint storyline, the only way it could go. Now the question is what are they going to do with it ?
Ps technically berry is now an orphan cause in season one eobard thawne killed Nora Allan and in season two jay/hunter zomolon killed earth one Henry Allan and joe isn't Barry's dad so if you think about it Barry is now an orphan
I doubt this Flashpoint story will last too long or effect the entire Flarrowverse. It'll probably last about 2-4 episodes max, and then everything will go back to the status quo. Maybe Reverse Flash will come back to life, but that'll be about it. Not everybody who watches both Flash and Arrow. If they retcon and change everything on Arrow, that would just kill the show (even more than the past 2 seasons have). Also, this will explain why Future Barry stopped season 1 Barry from saving his mom.
I'm half hoping for wells eobard to be back for this. He is still my favorite reverse flash, and he feels like he's one step ahead. Matt letscher just felt like a villain, although he only got one episode, but I never felt more hype to see tom cavanagh do reverse flash again in 2x17

With Barry essentially heading into Flashpoint Paradox, this may affect all the CW/DC shows: Flash, Arrow, Legends of Tomorrow and Supergirl. It's possible that, as a result of this, Zoom is still around, Barry never becomes the Flash, etc. Perhaps, there is no "Olicity" on Arrow. Perhaps Robert Queen is Arrow. Perhaps Supergirl's universe is retconned into the Flash/Arrow-verse. Any number of possibilities exist. I don't think the writers and producers will actually go that deeply into it but it IS interesting to think about.
Zoom got turned into the black flash aka the speedsters version of the grim reaper...hes not dead...just forever one with the speed force and forced to do its bidding by bringing speedsters into the speed force who are suppose to die when their time comes
Season 2 isn't necessarily void. I think what they're going to do to keep the continuity right is once they finish the flashpoint story is have that Barry go back and replace the Barry that beat zoom.

I'm pretty sure they'll go back and stop his mom from being saved in the first few episodes of next season. it will finally be present him shaking his head to season 1 him. Otherwise if would literally affect all the other show's timelines as he has been in all of them from supergirl all the way the the Vixen animated series. If it were something that only affected the flash series I could see it being for the whole season, but they've already announced a 4 night cross over which would be impossible with his mom saved as Barry isn't supposed to be the flash in that timeline until 2020 according to season 1 eabard thawne when he is talking to wells before killing him and taking his form. The speedforce will probably have a hand in him keeping his memories and helping him fix it I'd guess

lol, yah, that was about my reaction. I mean, they effectively "resolved" the conflicts of this entire season, and the cliffhanger is that he then borks not just both seasons but really all of history, including necessarily anything involving interaction with events depicted in Arrow, Legends, but the other Earths as well. It's.. an incredible way to end the season..
I have ADHD and i didn't even react like that... I did scream and punch my friend and was having some trouble speaking but they overreacted by a lot.. And I am not deemed "good" enough to be in normal school unless I take meds and I refuse to go to those independent schooling. My point is... My ADHD is so bad that not even I can have myself react like this.
Now Zoom became the Black Flash I guess it could be a good move make the actor who played him became The Rival, the greatest villain of Golden Age Flash. But for this worked CW need to explain the fact of Edward Clariss (The Rival) had the same face of Zolomon Hunter its because he is his doppelgänger from other Earth or another thing envolving alternative realities. Why do you thing about it people?
Maybe it won't be a complete reset. If they are doing a Flashpoint Paradox thing, maybe it's only going to last for one episode, the Season 3 premiere. At the end of which, Barry goes back in time and stops himself from saving Nora. Just like in the movie. Considering that the Flash Season 3 and Arrow Season 5 and Supergirl Season 2 and Legends Season 2 are going to have crossover's, they have to wrap up this whole Paradox thing in one episode. Make sense?
I liked seeing Zoom get what he deserved, and I loved Henry Allen's doppelganger being the real Jay Garrick. This finale wrapped up the main conflict nicely and provided some great foreshadowing for a Flashpoint adaptation story next season. I'm sure this show's version of Flashpoint won't take up the entire season. It'll probably just be a story arc of maybe three or four episodes where Barry has to reset the timeline to where it was. Then we'll probably get some new stories for the season, like Wally and Jessie becoming speedsters, and maybe more stuff about Grodd and Gorilla City.
True, but it was on CBS not CW. Now it will be on CW and I will have higher hopes for it now. Possibly Supergirl will ALSO be rebooted and none of the previous season will matter. ;)
+hypershadw That's stupid. Just because Supergirl is now on TheCW doesn't mean that season 1 didn't happen. Season 1 took place. Supergirl will now be in the Flarrowverse. It will most likely be figured out during the four show crossover event.
I hope and I think that they might do Flashpoint just for a couple or few episodes, just because of how complicated and expensive it'll be to create a world like that. Then like the end of flashpoint, Barry will go back and tackle himself in the speedforce to stop him from saving his mom, sending everything back to normal (season 2's timeline). just speculation though. I also hope they do their completely own rendition of Flashpoint. And maybe use Supergirl to take Superman's spot in flashpoint. And as far as the apocalyptic world goes, since theres been no mention of Aquaman, Wonder Woman, Cyborg, etc., they should bring in Gorilla Grodds story where he takes over the city using the Gorillas from Gorilla City. Hence the Gorilla City easter egg in the show season 2 where they dropped Grodd off on another Earths jungle. I think that'll be a great interpretation of Flashpoint from the show, since the show seems to do different things with the comics anyways, but hey just an idea. love yal reaction videos
Is it just me who thinks that season 2 was kinda the same as season 1 thematically? As in: Barry works to get faster in order to beat an evil speedster only to eventually find out its his mentor figure who betrays him and then they have a showdown while trying to stop an end of the world singularity style thing and then Barry goes back in time to save or not save his mum.
I hope by the end of the series there are 20 Barrys trying to stop each other and the Reverse-Flash is just confused.

I got really scared for a minute when Zoom tried to kill Caitlin! I didn't even suspect that Caitlin was actually a hologram. That was a good twist that took me by surprise. I was relieved that Caitlin was okay.
Best season finale ever!! I'm so excited for season 3 premiere!! The fact we must wait until October for the season premiere really sucks.
I wonder if Barry's actions at the end will have anything to do with the mega-crossover in the fall b/w The Flash, Arrow, LoT, and Supergirl.

Two things. 1) Jay Garrick was actually part of the Justice Society of America. I would LOVE it if they brought Jay onto Legends of Tomorrow since they now introduced the JSA. 2) In Flashpoint Paradox, the multiverse is combined into 1. I don't know if you've heard this already, but Supergirl is going to be coming to the CW now, which is gonna make the show a LOT better. This whole, "combining the multiverse" thing caused by Flashpoint Paradox is a great way to bring Supergirl into the fold. (Also, rumor is that Superman is gonna be in the first two episodes of Supergirl when it airs on CW. The new owner of Warner Brothers is going to be very lenient with using characters on tv shows. So now, they can bring on Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, and a bunch of others now!)

This is probably incorrect, but here's my understanding of a time remnant:
Creating a time remnant establishes a time loop that stops only when the remnant dies (NOT the original). Basically, a time remnant is an expendable/sacrificial version of yourself, but it's a risky thing to do since it does create a time loop, and things could go horribly wrong.
Also on the plus side we may get more of Matt Letscher and/or Tom Cavanagh as Eobard Thawne next season which will be awesome.

My guess is that Barry causes the Flashpoint Paradox here, which then merges Supergirl's world with his. Perhaps some ripple will find it's way into Arrow and Legends? Who knows? Flashpoint is a HUGE event, almost as big as the Infinite Crisis
When they locked Barry in the pipeline, it reminded me of when Dean and Bobby locked up Sam in the panic room, and that was devastating
The way I see it is Season 1 Barry tries to save his mum and Season 3 Barry is the one who tells him not to, he then takes kid Barry outside to save him from Thawne while Season 2 Barry appears and saves his mum, he's then gonna return to present day (in season 3) and see how everything got f***ed up (this show's version of Flashpoint happens) and then he'll go back to that night as Season 3 Barry to both tell Season 1 Barry not to save his mum and to stop Season 2 Barry from ever going back to save his mum in Season 2 finale. Yeah my brain hurts too.

I have a theory about this finale. After Barry went back in time and stopped the Yellow Flash, the other Barry.
Which could mean events have been changed. Which ALSO could mean that Snart may or may not still be alive, in the present.
But...I'm no expert on time travel, this is just a theory
OK it simple (I jest)... they are doing Flashpoint Paradox. Seeing Season 1 Barry disappear at his parents house after Season 2 Flash saves his Mom means Barry never became the Flash. Barry's father doesn't go to jail, his mother lives, he never grows up with Joe or Iris. He will come back to Star Labs when he left and probably find the real DrWells there, surprised and wondering who this guy in a red suit is. Since Barry may not have been where he was when the reactor blew he may return and find he even has no powers. Its also possible he will return and find a geeky non-meta version of himself there, and now is himself a man outside of time. A paradoxical entity.
Arrow gets reset also since Barry may not have been able help Oliver and that changes the whole sequence of events there. Since the Legends cast was in that weird no-time zone when Barry made the changes, they may not be effected memory wise, except that when they return they find everything changed in 2016 or even back to 2014 (maybe even earlier). Also this opens the door for Supergirl to appear on Earth One now, instead of the alternate Earth Barry found her on (along with Superman BTW).
So this could mean all of Flash is totally reset, some of Arrow is reset, etc.

Easter Eggs and Predictions for Season 3 Include:
- Zoom becoming the Black Flash
- When the time reminant of Barry Allen dies, that is similar to how he dies in the comics
- If Barry's mum doesn't die, even though Barry may still be The Flash (You can tell this because his current self never faded away, nor did his costume) Without her death, Barry would have never lived with Joe or Iris, Harrison wells would not have helped him get faster, Barry would have never opened the portal to Earth 2, The likelyhood of him knowing Cisco and Catlyn would be low.
- We know that the Earth 2 storyline still exists, otherwise Barry would cease to exist there because he would not have gone back, which also means that there is a point to return to.
- Jesse Quick will become a speedster. Earth 1 Harrison Wells now lives because The Reverse Flash no longer needs to kill him to take his body. He will most likely be similar to Harry from Earth 2 yet not the same as Eobard Thawne, but the important thing about it is that he will be able to have a child, which will be Jesse. Whilst Harry (Earth 2) directed the blast underground to avoid injuring to many people, Harrison (Earth 1) might not have done that, meaning Jesse would have been caught in the blast. This gives The CW the ability to create Jesse Quick (A Speedster) and more importantly, a possible Side Kick for The Flash.
- Wally West VS The Black Flash. At the end of this episode, Zoom is turned into The Black Flash. Though Barry Allen as The Flash may not face him again in the show, Wally West faced off against The Black Flash in the comic books. The Black Flash caused a lot of havoc, due to being incredibly hard to kill because he is already dead. But Wally (The Flash) managed to defeat him by racing the Black Flash to the end of time, where Death has no meaning and The Black Flash vanished. Since both characters are alive and well, it is possible this could happen in season 3.
- Grodd. Yes, he is still alive remember? He is one of Barry Allen's most formidable enemies and on Earth 2, Grodd is only getting stronger and smarter. The build up from season 1 with Grodd is hopefully going to be approaching it's finale as I have strong beliefs that Grodd is now strong enough to be the main villain for Season 3.
-Grodd can now start taking over Earth 2 with his Gorilla army. That is right, Gorilla army. Team Flash decided to send Grodd to a Gorilla sanctuary with gorillas similar, but nowhere near as powerful, to him. Without Zoom to stop him, Grodd now has the chance to seize control.
Don't forget that Eobard went back in time to kill his mom BECAUSE Barry was the Flash and he hated him (He had his mom and he WAS the Flash). Then he became Wells and basically created Barry. But did he create a totally different version of Barry by killing his mom? If Barry saves his mom, is he going to become the Flash that Eobard hates? Maybe then it will be a recurring time loop. Barry becomes the Flash, Eobard kills his mom and creates a new Flash and then Barry prevents it all from happening causing the time loop to restart.
Geuss Robbie and Eddie are going to be back then too?

That's what it was, Flashpoint! They even teased it in the episode before the last one, where he's strapped to that device. I was think to myself "where could they possibly go from here", and then...BOOM, the Flashpoint storyline, the only way it could go. Now the question is what are they going to do with it ?

I doubt this Flashpoint story will last too long or effect the entire Flarrowverse. It'll probably last about 2-4 episodes max, and then everything will go back to the status quo. Maybe Reverse Flash will come back to life, but that'll be about it. Not everybody who watches both Flash and Arrow. If they retcon and change everything on Arrow, that would just kill the show (even more than the past 2 seasons have). Also, this will explain why Future Barry stopped season 1 Barry from saving his mom.
I'm half hoping for wells eobard to be back for this. He is still my favorite reverse flash, and he feels like he's one step ahead. Matt letscher just felt like a villain, although he only got one episode, but I never felt more hype to see tom cavanagh do reverse flash again in 2x17

With Barry essentially heading into Flashpoint Paradox, this may affect all the CW/DC shows: Flash, Arrow, Legends of Tomorrow and Supergirl. It's possible that, as a result of this, Zoom is still around, Barry never becomes the Flash, etc. Perhaps, there is no "Olicity" on Arrow. Perhaps Robert Queen is Arrow. Perhaps Supergirl's universe is retconned into the Flash/Arrow-verse. Any number of possibilities exist. I don't think the writers and producers will actually go that deeply into it but it IS interesting to think about.
Zoom got turned into the black flash aka the speedsters version of the grim reaper...hes not dead...just forever one with the speed force and forced to do its bidding by bringing speedsters into the speed force who are suppose to die when their time comes
Season 2 isn't necessarily void. I think what they're going to do to keep the continuity right is once they finish the flashpoint story is have that Barry go back and replace the Barry that beat zoom.

I'm pretty sure they'll go back and stop his mom from being saved in the first few episodes of next season. it will finally be present him shaking his head to season 1 him. Otherwise if would literally affect all the other show's timelines as he has been in all of them from supergirl all the way the the Vixen animated series. If it were something that only affected the flash series I could see it being for the whole season, but they've already announced a 4 night cross over which would be impossible with his mom saved as Barry isn't supposed to be the flash in that timeline until 2020 according to season 1 eabard thawne when he is talking to wells before killing him and taking his form. The speedforce will probably have a hand in him keeping his memories and helping him fix it I'd guess

lol, yah, that was about my reaction. I mean, they effectively "resolved" the conflicts of this entire season, and the cliffhanger is that he then borks not just both seasons but really all of history, including necessarily anything involving interaction with events depicted in Arrow, Legends, but the other Earths as well. It's.. an incredible way to end the season..

I have ADHD and i didn't even react like that... I did scream and punch my friend and was having some trouble speaking but they overreacted by a lot.. And I am not deemed "good" enough to be in normal school unless I take meds and I refuse to go to those independent schooling. My point is... My ADHD is so bad that not even I can have myself react like this.

Now Zoom became the Black Flash I guess it could be a good move make the actor who played him became The Rival, the greatest villain of Golden Age Flash. But for this worked CW need to explain the fact of Edward Clariss (The Rival) had the same face of Zolomon Hunter its because he is his doppelgänger from other Earth or another thing envolving alternative realities. Why do you thing about it people?
Maybe it won't be a complete reset. If they are doing a Flashpoint Paradox thing, maybe it's only going to last for one episode, the Season 3 premiere. At the end of which, Barry goes back in time and stops himself from saving Nora. Just like in the movie. Considering that the Flash Season 3 and Arrow Season 5 and Supergirl Season 2 and Legends Season 2 are going to have crossover's, they have to wrap up this whole Paradox thing in one episode. Make sense?

I liked seeing Zoom get what he deserved, and I loved Henry Allen's doppelganger being the real Jay Garrick. This finale wrapped up the main conflict nicely and provided some great foreshadowing for a Flashpoint adaptation story next season. I'm sure this show's version of Flashpoint won't take up the entire season. It'll probably just be a story arc of maybe three or four episodes where Barry has to reset the timeline to where it was. Then we'll probably get some new stories for the season, like Wally and Jessie becoming speedsters, and maybe more stuff about Grodd and Gorilla City.

+hypershadw That's stupid. Just because Supergirl is now on TheCW doesn't mean that season 1 didn't happen. Season 1 took place. Supergirl will now be in the Flarrowverse. It will most likely be figured out during the four show crossover event.

I hope and I think that they might do Flashpoint just for a couple or few episodes, just because of how complicated and expensive it'll be to create a world like that. Then like the end of flashpoint, Barry will go back and tackle himself in the speedforce to stop him from saving his mom, sending everything back to normal (season 2's timeline). just speculation though. I also hope they do their completely own rendition of Flashpoint. And maybe use Supergirl to take Superman's spot in flashpoint. And as far as the apocalyptic world goes, since theres been no mention of Aquaman, Wonder Woman, Cyborg, etc., they should bring in Gorilla Grodds story where he takes over the city using the Gorillas from Gorilla City. Hence the Gorilla City easter egg in the show season 2 where they dropped Grodd off on another Earths jungle. I think that'll be a great interpretation of Flashpoint from the show, since the show seems to do different things with the comics anyways, but hey just an idea. love yal reaction videos
Is it just me who thinks that season 2 was kinda the same as season 1 thematically? As in: Barry works to get faster in order to beat an evil speedster only to eventually find out its his mentor figure who betrays him and then they have a showdown while trying to stop an end of the world singularity style thing and then Barry goes back in time to save or not save his mum.
