- William Wordsworth (7 April 1770 - 23 April 1850) was an English Romantic poet who, with Samuel Taylor Coleridge, helped to launch the Romantic Age in English literature with their joint publication Lyrical Ballads (1798).
Wordsworth's magnum opus is generally considered to be The Prelude, a semi-autobiographical poem of his early years that he revised and expanded a number of times. It was posthumously titled and published by his wife in the year of his death, before which it was generally known as "the poem to Coleridge".
Wordsworth was Poet Laureate from 1843 until his death from pleurisy on 23 April 1850.

I am currently having a weekend in the daffodil hotel only meters away from his house and grave. Ignorantly I know very little about this man so as I sit here in the Hotel lounge, sipping a beer and watching the rain over the lake and mountains, I’m grateful and enjoying this video.. thank you so much 😊

The music is very strong, overpowering overwelming it kills me I don t want to listen to it because we have nothing in common . Instead I would like to walk with the poet, his poems in my hand and experience understanding and fondness. In this wayI I try to understand and enjoy foreign literature

Because only about one person in ten thousand lacks the mental acuity to enjoy the music with the text, which is the norm. In case you hadn't noticed, nearly ALL documentaries, indeed, nearly all movies and TV shows, etc., have background music.
This is because the music adds to the enjoyment, and even to the retention and comprehension, for ordinary, balanced, intelligent people. I strongly suggest you go read a book. No background music, only text and pictures

In what way? I've known a great many writers, and none preferred cottages. A cottage, particularly in the historical sense, is a place writers lived because they couldn't afford anything better.
Solitude when writing is good for most writers, but isolation is not, and they are very different things. The writer and his cottage is an idealized, romantic view of what was most often an uncomfortable, unhappy place endured not for love, but for lack of money.
I've written in many places, from beaches and hotels, to isolated log cabins with no electricity or plumbing, to an absolutely wonderful ocean capable houseboat on the Ohio River, to a year long stint in the deep wilderness, to a large, roomy home office.
I loved writing in all these places, but there's writing, and then there's life when away from writing. Cottages may be fine when actually sitting down and writing, but they are a curse when the writing is over and it's time to live life.

He got a poor woman pregnant and dumped her. Then he sponged on others and wrote poetry.
This is a common theme with poets of the time, and all too often today. But just as in politics, too many think morality, decency, and character don't matter. These things are seldom even mentioned, and certainly never applauded, in most documentaries or biographies.
The theme seems to be, "I don't care what a piece of human excrement he was, he could write great poetry so all else is meaningless."
Though this attitude often reflects the life and beliefs of those making the documentaries and writing the biographies, as much as it does the life and beliefs of the subject.

Ugly music is boring and disturbing.
It really interfered with the narrative & reading of the poetry.
The music is by Wordsworth's contemporary, Ludwig van Beethoven (both born 1770), popular at the time and listened to by Wordsworth himself. Many of the images are by J M W Turner, another contemporary of Wordsworth, all helpful in establishing the ambiance of the time.
®~ Tintern Abbey was not his property. William Wordsworth was just a useless interupter that too without any ears.
WW was a bit of a nut-case --- he retired to the countryside--- and started speaking as if nature has a mind --- oh goodness ---
