K9 Mantrailing/Search dog training

This video demonstrates how a dog once given a scent to follow a human, can through different environment's be able to follow the scent and finally track down the person who left their scent behind.
This dog has been training for over 1 year and his progress with the handler has been excellent especially how the handler understands her dogs body language and what the dog is telling her during the trail, a example of this is when the dog barks at the beginning of the trail once he has taken the scent from the article that's left behind from the trail layer , The dog does tend to cast well, walking in a circle to identify the direction and strength of the scent, He also shows excitement when he is in the proximity of the trail layer and hurries up looking for the path to get to the human trail layer.
