    If your succulent is showing signs of being overwatered, you shouldn’t just ”stop watering and wait until the soil is dry”! You should repot it into dry soil immediately or it will only get worse.

      Thank you for your comment :) You are absolutely right. We also mentioned that in 1:01 of the video just right after ”refrain watering and wait until the soil is dry” a sec or two.

      @@SucculentsBox its not just the soil but succulents prefer being watered when thirsty. Not dependent on the soil.

    Great video and highly informative Thank your S. B.
    Was just wondering if there is a chance for the leaves pointing downwards to point upwards when the sunlight requirement is met?

    • @SucculentsBox
      @SucculentsBox  Před rokem +2

      Hi, I'm afraid it cannot. Once the leaves point down, they will not curl back up, even if the underlying problem is fixed. You can either wait for those leaves to drop off and leave your plant as is, or you can take a cutting from the top of the plant where the growth is still a rosette (this is especially helpful if your plant has etiolated and has a leggy stem) 😉

    Interestingly, I have a graptopetalum mirinae, and when leaves drop of the stem, I often see offshoots growing from them afterwards.

    I have 3 teddy bears and they are dropping leaves like crazy, they are not over watered and I have them under a grow light. Could it be that they are getting to much light?

      You might want to get it out of the pot to check if there's rotting?

    How do i check if it needs more sunlight? i usually keep in indoors & have never kept it outside. The place i live in has very high temperatures so im scared it'llget burnt

    • @SucculentsBox
      @SucculentsBox  Před rokem +6

      If your succulents don't get enough sunlight, their stems and leaves will stretch and get leggy. Some succulents might change or lose the vibrant colors they used to have at the time of purchase. If your place's sunlight is too harsh, you are recommended to place it near windows or at an angle where they can receive morning sunlight and less afternoon sunlight. A sunny South-facing windowsill is ideal 😎
