タロットカードが出てくるところで、咲夜はザワールドのタロットカードなんだけど、ザワールドの逆位置は、
「不完全燃焼」
「未完了」
「個性を発揮できない」
っていう意味だから、
どちらかが偽物の咲夜ってことになる。
咲夜が逆さまで落ちるとこと、タロットカードが逆さまのままで落ちていくところが同じであること。歌詞の「すべての喧騒を正しく終わらせる」
「銀色夜の夢」など、今起きてることが間違ったものであると思わせるような歌詞。
この2つから思ったのは、赤目の咲夜が偽物であり、それを本物の咲夜（青目）が正しくあるべきところに還す。（レミリアが運命を変えた？）
偽物というのはもしかしたら過去の咲夜ってことかもしれないし、本物咲夜のもう一人の人格の咲夜ってことかもしれない。
なんとなくでしかない考察だけど多分こんな感じなんかな？
モデルに時代を感じるな……
こういう人達のおかげで今のMMDがあるんだねぇ

12年前なのに表情が細かく表現されていたり、動きが滑らかだったり…今思えばめちゃめちゃ凄い事だなって改めて思わされる。アニメのオープニング感が刺さるわ…
当時はMMD自体ハイスペックpcでも重いと言われてましたね笑
それが知らない内に64ビットソフトになったり4k60fps対応…
時代の進化が凄い😅
今リメイクしたら更に神作になるんだろうな…
これ小学生の頃見て以来ずっと好き、、

looking at this now in 2019, I can't believe how simple the animations were in this video... back when I first watched this, I was blown away by the mere fact it was basically a homebrew animation...

Sakuya can control both time and space. Red-eyed Sakuya throws knives thanks to space control and blue-eyed Sakuya used time to stop them (and she may turn each of them around by herself or she used space control too to change the vector).

If you study her, you learn that during the events of EoSD Sakuya only worked for Remilia for food. Then when she saw Remilia be defeated by a human and proceed to befriend that human, she began being much more trusting of her, and no longer needed anything in return for working (though she still got it). In EoSD her eyes were red and in PCB her eyes were blue. I think this is the more faithful part of her coming out and defeating all doubt left in her heart between the events of EoSD and PCB.

Finding another song and video as good as this is going to be borderline impossible, it is that damn awesome. It is immensely entrancing, it has struck my heart in a way that very few songs ever have - even further.

The two Sakuya's thing ppl are mentioning, I think it's an implication of a struggle within'. They're one and the same, 2 sides of the same coin. The human part of Sakuya fighting against the servant/vampire's assistant side of herself; struggling for control.
Think Dracula & Igor but in a touhou sense. This isn't canon but makes sense to me.
There's a lot of symbolism in this; 2:00 the cards; Sakuya is the world and there are two of them, one upside down on the other. She loses to the "black" Sakuya and is falling like the card. 2:02 is a memory sequence, Remilia is biting her neck; being turned?
Could also mean she's losing sight of what she wants/is expected to live up to. Do I really want this, am I worthy or something like that.

Sakuya is my favorite charecter by far, mainly becuase I have more issues with her then I do either of the Scarlet Sisters.

Songs made in 2009 are so good.
well in some cases it was suggested that they wasn't born vampires. It goes their powers manifested out of the hatred of the world. Remillia could handle the hatred Flandre could not so she became twisted mentally and (as you can tell by her wings) physically. it is a sad tale.

She had red eyes during TH6, and blue eyes in each game afterward. Her dress became a darker blue in TH7 and TH8, but never really black.

Wow, I can't imagine how long it must have taken to animate this, let alone make the models as well. Just the sheer amount of knives in some shots makes me dizzy. @^@ Great work!
2:02 to use a time stamp to prove it was Remilia but at 2:03 you see flan so I see why you got confused.
This song so sad. The background is something like "There need to be two sakuyas or her time and space abilities will destroy everything. One is sealed in the watch and will occasionally get out and compete for who is in control."

@@cocojumbo539 That's... That's the story the MMD is telling. Or its my personal interpretation of it anyway.
The whole idea of "two sakuyas" originally came from the fighting games where sakuya had an alternate down down shot ability where she summons a second sakuya to attack. The description of the card explicitly describes the sakuya as coming from a parallel universe/alternate timeline kind of thing. That second sakuya is dressed in black. (I'm pretty sure it first showed up in SWR but it might also be in IaMP)
The Sakuya in black showed up in a lot of places ranging from games, to art, to animations both coming out of Japan and the West but they don't all follow the same idea of "parallel dimension sakuya" as seen in the original cards. She is also sometimes depicted with black hair. If you want to go digging around Danbooru/Safebooru or something you'll find some. The dual_persona tag with sakuya's name should net you some.
And back in the day there were discussions about what would happen if the two sakuyas met in some capacity.
Dial Connected seems to be another one of these stories. One where the blue one loses to the black one and they swap.

I'm more leaning towards a different theory. Sakuya, the loyal servant she is, has been serving remi for a while and remi, feeling a little insecure about her bites her to gain complete control. The whole mirror image battle is just an artistic.way to show her falling entirely under remi's control.

Yup, one of the top Touhou vids by far...! I agree with its lack of smoothness in comparison to Bad apple (Bad apple was tight!! Loved that vid), but the camera angles, poses, and overrall movements are definitely much better than a lot of the MMD's out there-In short, its a rlly cool piece of work!

I'm pretty sure that the black-uniformed Sakuya represents Remilia's power to manipulate fate. Sakuya fought Remilia before she became her maid since Sakuya was said to be a vampire hunter a long time ago. Since Sakuya lost against Remilia's power, her fate was changed to become her maid.
That's how I see the video. =P
You know what I think,I think Remi Bit Sakuya (Red Eyed) and you know Sakuya Controls time,So her past self (Grey eyed) was ashamed of The Present Sakuya for Letting Remi Bite her.

@wanlizhang123 i think you mean normal knifes, well she has to be excatly only 1 normal Knife wich she throws before she stops time, when she is stopping time the knife holds the throwing energy and release it when the time is stopping no more.
well and her magical knives they are just popping up in sakuyas command so they don't need a throwing energy (that why some of them are stupid slow) i hoped that helped you

If you google it, it tells you it's a series of shooting games, which it is. The fans made an episode of it, but it's based off the games that came first. Technically, it's not an anime

Lunar Clock, Luna Dial- was Sakuyas fist (old) theme, during that time she had red eyes. But since then she has had blue, and a dark color alternate costume sometimes. The change could be an effect of over exposure to the stopwatch or Ramilias re chosen fated.
Also UNL introduced a skill card 'Time Paradox' where a shadow Sakuya assists in an attack, possibly eluding to this?

and there is also an upside down world card...which may be linked to the two sakuyas.
This is the best Touhou PV I've seen so far, maybe only tying with Draw The Line, though since I haven't played the game with Yukari yet I relate to this one more.
