For me this is the best design from bmw, looks calm and attractive but at the same time can be intimidating.

You can rev just about anything up to 8.3k, just have to pay the cost lmao

@@diniesallehhudinsleeper " Huge cylinder volume " but its doable :) u can rev anything to anything but the problem is it breaks... can still build things to run 2-3-4k over RPM, problem is life span :)

When cars were timeless and pure
I programmed the little diamond shaped button to turn off even the small standard screen. If you drive fast regularly any of that stuff is just pure distraction. Nobody ever enjoyed their touch screen whilst lapping the n.ring at 9 or 10 10ths. For me the car can have the tech but it must be able to be turned off easily and quickly and leave no distraction.
Its alright to have a touch screen, but I hate it when the interior is just a big tablet *cough* *mercedes S class* *cough*
Almost 200mph from 450bhp? with a wing on the back... That's insane.
200mph or 180 gps, these car have big speed error difference.
@@ron999 i believe there is a difference, even an insane one.. but 32km/h nah… and still 290 with just 450hp and a big wing is impressive
@@justinjheijnen you can believe me, its around 30 km/h at top speed. 20 at 250 real gps km/h, and 15 at 210 and 10 at 150.
@@justinjheijnen these cars have insane differences. Never been in a gts but my normal e90 V8 has around a 8% error
Hmm more 190 mph there's a discrepancy between the GPS and speedo speed

It’s so awesome you’re excited about your job and clearly appreciate it because once you do something a lot it just becomes the norm to most people and they don’t appreciate their situation. Like when you get a new car but after 6 months it just becomes your car and it’s not as special anymore.

Man, the S65 is probably the best V8 to have - the experience is just insane, and the sound it throws out is just, aaaaaahhhh.
I loved these when I was a kid when they came out, still dreaming of a day to drive one, hopefully.

@@looped7979 I think they are fundamentally different engines with different philosophies. I love an OG 6.3 AMG sound, but there is just something about the S65 that tingles the ear. Might I also add that the M156 is not that "unique" as it was put in everything called AMG in those early 2000.
Mercs were straight line monster vs e92 m3 being a track monster. Both cars don't hold a candle to anything new now in both settings. Driving either cars nowadays is mainly for good feel and sound similar to why people drive an e30 M3 now
@@ralfszemzars1885 honestly it's not even a bad thing for this engine to have been put everywhere. It makes it more affordable and less exclusive/expensive to run.
Also it gave us some fun combos : ML63, R63 and so on

Did you ever get a GPS top speed for a standard e92 v8 m3? I always had mine with the bmw speed limiter at 163mph so never got to see quite what it would do. If anyone was to know I thought it might be your guys. Thanks :).
