- On the first of each month, I will share a bit of Christmas Card Making Inspiration (2 cards). If you're like me and want to make your Christmas cards rather than buying the "mass-produced, over-priced" cards, these videos are designed to give you some inspiration throughout the year. You can use what I have used, or let these cards give you some inspiration to use what you have.
For this month, I will be doing the “One Sheet Wonder” technique creating 4 cards.
Dimensions
8-1/2” x 5-1/2” (Cut 4) - Basic White Thick Cardstock, Scored at 4-1/4”
5-3/8” x 4-1/8” (Cut 4) - Cherry Cobbler Cardstock
10-1/2” x 8” - Basic White Cardstock

What a great sheet/cards. This is probably the nicest one i have seen! Love the old stamp set. I watched it today but plan to replay your video and do it along with you. Please do one sheet wonder more often because you are very good at it. Thank you and God bless!

Had this video in my 'watch later' playlist and have just finished watching. Thank you so much for stamping at a speed i can follow. Have this set unused, enjoyed your video so much will watch again and stamp along. Am in my late 70's and struggle with poor memory, finding a demonstrator using older stock is brilliant but one who stamps at a speed to follow is outstanding 🎉🎉. Thank you so much for the kind words! I have never been one to rush in my stamping/card making because if I did? Then I would mess up. I guess it's the OCD in me LOL. When I decided to start doing videos, it was a must for me to use retired stuff because I have so much of it, plus I have a lot of retired that I had never put ink to and that was the case with the Christmas Season stampset. I did the other video with current product because one of my commenters on this video wanted to recreate this, however they didn't have and couldn't get this stampset. Someone made a suggestion about doing this technique with a snowflake stampset - I think I see another video coming soon since I have a few snowflake sets. Lovely cards and a time saver too.
I love doing stamped one sheet wonders, they save lots of time and can be cut in so many ways, plus you don't need to buy dsp as you've made your own one off version.
Have you checked out Ruth Trice from Artful Stampin, she's a demo in the UK and is the Queen of the OSW and has LOADS of inspiration on her channel.

I had commented on your FB page but should have commented here. I love the design just sorry the die set is retired. Is there any possibility of it coming out again?
Not a problem Susan - I just responded to your comment. I didn't use the dies on these cards, unless you were meaning the stampset. I can say - never say never, but I doubt it. I did do another version of this technique with the new Golden Greenery Bundle.
I would have turned at least upside down and have the pine cone hanging down.
That too could have been done along with making the cards in a portrait orientation as well. ;)

I would love to make this card but unfortunately the stamp set is retired and i can't buy it... I checked ebay etc...
Kim - For my Monthly Christmas Card Inspiration videos I do use a lot of retired sets and as we get closer to the holiday I will use current. What's nice about this technique is that you could use lots of different stamps. Though it's different and it doesn't have a pinecone in the set, we have currently on the SU website under Online Exclusives the Golden Greenery stampset - come September, the new holiday mini catalog will be out and maybe there will be something in there.

I looked back several years ago and found other videos by other crafters using a similar technique. That stamp set is so versatile. Glad I have it. I am inspired to get it out and play😀
@@facsmom - Lots of people of done this technique - artfulstampin with ruth is a demo from the UK and she is the queen (in my opinion) of this technique.
