- We thought about this for a few weeks and we both came up with the same question Why wouldn’t we? I have had a terrific time doing my CZcams with my wonderful mother over the past year and the support my awesome subscribers have shown me has been over whelming. I don’t want you all to hear it from anyone else as many of you have become online friends and we even see some of you out and about. We also want to carry on with our music as much as we can and my mother is a true believer that the only way to beat this disease is through positivity. We also wanted to share some of our sugar free recipes that my mum has changed to since diagnosis she has cut all sugar out, as many of you will have seen I used to do baking vids but just haven’t had the time well now I’m making time, so you may have wondered why they are all sugar free! Every day is a battle but I have to stay positive for my mother as that’s what she wants and she doesn’t want me to give up my music or my CZcams so we are staying positive it’s onwards and upwards you’ll just see a few baking vids in between the steamtrain and classic car vids 😂. My wife is a survivor of 20 years now, having had surgery, chemo and radiotherapy. Treatment is excellent nowadays. When you are involved with something like this its amazing how many other women you know are also experiencing the same. The important thing is to catch it early and treat it. Its not pleasant - the worry, stress, emotion, side effects of treatment, but it can be beaten 100% I wish you all well in your journey together and that years thereafter pass in health and happiness 🤗
P.s. raw beetroot, garlic and turmeric are great antioxidents (not easy to consume though!)

My wife had breast cancer 13 years ago. After surgery and chemotherapy and radiotherapy she has been given the all clear. Everyone is born with cancer and it can trigger off in anyone anytime. Your Mom needs to have a positive attitude a glass half full. I pray for people in my life and that includes all of you. Believe everything is going to be ok and it will be. I always find your Mum's laughter and giggles behind the camera quite, quite infectious. Hi Matilda, I’m a car enthusiast and mechanical engineer and have been enjoying your videos a lot over the past few weeks. I think that your Mum and you were right to share her news. I was diagnosed with two cancers 5 years ago, and decided to keep this to myself. This was a bad idea as I really needed my family’s emotional and practical support. Thanks to our wonderful NHS, I’m fit and well today. I just thought I’d share too. Best wishes to your Mum, you and the rest of your terrific family!

I had lung cancer 12 years ago. I was given a 32% chance of living 10 years. The numbers dont mean anything. It can be beaten.
It was removed, and its an unusual word for cancer, but the consultant said i was cured. 🙂
Important thing is to follow the doctors and dont try and use homeopathic routes alone. Yes, they could help, but used alongside the docs.
I ate tonnes of raw broccoli....raw. Its not as bad as it sounds. I got to like it ! Lol
Its believed to kill stray cancer cells to stop any return.

I'm so sorry to hear this Matilda, you have been very brave. I was happy to hear you say that your Mum was going to cut out sugar, this is a good first step.
We are all prone to cancer & our only defence is our immune system, so building that up through diet, exercise & positive environments is such a great thing to do.
Plenty of lemon juice to bring down body acidity and as much fresh air as possible. Lightly cooked veg full of enzymes. No tap water - distilled or filtered instead.
There are many many other natural treatments and you can always get second opinions regarding official pharmaceutical treatments, which you can also refuse if they don't feel right.
I'm sure that all of your followers like me will be here for you both & we're all thinking of you.
She is so careful now and building up her immune system so well😊❤

Hi Matilda, sad news to hear your mum is battling breast cancer, however her quest to eat a healthy diet and do all she can without resorting to the doctors for now is amazing, on the plus side the prognosis for breast cancer if caught early is very good, my prayers are with your mum, you and Billy and I commend you for coming out and saying whats happening, you're a brave girl. She has been to the doctors as well, but has told her nurse she would rather look at alternative therapy than surgery, it is all under discussion at the moment, but the nurse has been very supportive saying there is no right or wrong, she came highly recommended ❤

Hi Matilda, I'm so sorry to hear about your mum. I lost my lovely 41 year old sister to the same but that was back in the mid eighties and so much progress has been made in fighting it since. Tell her she has build up her strength and fight it back hard, she is so lucky to have you to support her. Yes I heard sugar feeds cancer somewhere so that is a good start. I've recently started growing my own food and what a difference, I'm sure a lot of this food we buy loses much of it's goodness before we buy it. I'm so sorry to hear the news Matilda. My mum was diagnosed with the same some decades ago and her view was like yours not to hide it. She openly shared it to increase awareness as much as she could. I remember her saying the more that know the better so the more can find a cure and help. She had surgery and over time was in remission. That was a decade before the internet became available for most people and a lot of progress has and is being made since then so please, please be strong for your mum, she needs you to be strong as do the reset of us who view your brilliant channel. Matilda I’m very sorry to hear about your Mum’s Diagnosis. Cancer has hit hard on my family. My Grandad passed away to Pancreatic Cancer and it hit us like a tonne of bricks. One of my Mum’s friends also got colon cancer, luckily he fought it and he’s doing really well in this day and age. I hope everything goes well for you and your Mum, may God bless you 🙏🏼 ❤️
