James, I live over the pass in Idaho in Driggs. My wife and I have 20 acres and have an Air B&B tiny house on our property. If you want to ever visit again holler at me. Have my wife and two daughters here as well. If you ever want to do a snowmobile tour through Yellowstone highly recommend it. Not sure if you ski, but 30 minutes from Grand Targhee and 45 from Jackson Hole Mountain resort. If you come in the summer we can do an overnight wilderness hike in Kelly Wy, super sweet hikes with gnarly elevation gain to stay on a lake on the mountain. Probably need a 6mo heads up so I have it available.
That wasn't a black bear. Only a Tourist would get that close to the King of the Rockies. That's right you can carry it in the Park Now. I am only 100 miles from there. It would be best to take that guy up on his vacation rental. Do winter vacation on a snowmobile trip. You'll want to go to West Yellowstone and ride into Island Park. Take one day and ride to Old Faithfull Lodge. Much better in the winter "No one will search your luggage, that's a hanging offense in these parts.
