The '100 Coastal Warriors’ initiative aims to address these critical issues by mobilising community-based champions. Let's explore some of the significant challenges our coastal regions face.
Through Underwater Domain Awareness, we can implement feasible solutions through policy interventions, technological advancements, and capacity-building efforts. This framework leverages modelling and simulation, drawing data from open sources, to provide actionable policy-making insights.
Integrating technology with local expertise, the '100 Coastal Warriors' are equipped to monitor, protect, and restore coastal ecosystems. Real-time monitoring and remote operations enhance their effectiveness. With the '100 Coastal Warriors' program, we envision a future where coastal communities are empowered to manage and sustain their natural resources, ensuring the health and prosperity of our coastlines for generations to come.
