Step 1: Buy Minecraft Bedrock/Pocket Edition
Step 2: Log in with ur Microsoft account. If you dont have a Microsoft account, make one
Step 3: Make your friends go to the friends menu
Step 4: Get friends to add friend you and add friend them
Step 5: Join a world
Step 6 Get your friends to go to the friends menu, and they should see you, and once they click on you, they will start joining you then once they join tadaaaan, you dont have to buy a server
I spent 6 minutes writing this pls like it, i broke my hands, making an entire step by step tutorial

#1, The free way, make a free bedrock server on minehut, aternos, xenon, etc
#2. Buy the official Minecraft realm
#3. Buy off of a server hoster that hosts 24/7 bedrock servers

I use Essentials quite often myself the only problems are that it doesn’t work for snapshots and that you can’t play while the one hosting the world is offline.

i already use this; it's pretty good and works by hosting from your pc, so it works with mods too

i would recommend just setting up a server instead, if you are able to run it on the same computer you play on without lag then it doesnt really matter, but it still uses more power keeping the game open than just a batch file for the display.
