- The Battle of the Little Bighorn - a battle fought on June 25, 1876, between soldiers of the 7th Cavalry Regiment of the US Army commanded by Lt. Col. George A. Custer and the North American Indians, mainly Dakotas, led by Crazy Horse (Tashunka Witko), Sitting Bull (Tatanka Yotanka) and other chiefs.

Bardzo znana bitwa w USA. Pamięć o niej Amerykanie bardzo pielęgnują. Pole bitwy to olbrzymie muzeum na prerii, którego końcowym etapem jest Wzgórze Custera.

Dobry materiał. Z którego filmu pochodzą fragmenty ilustrujące bitwę w tym materiale?
To film. " Syn Gwiazdy Porannej" z 1991 roku. Jeżeli dobrze pamiętam to Indianie z plemienia Arikara nazwali Custera Synem Gwiazdy Porannej ponieważ atakował o świcie. Drugą wersja mówi że Lakotowie go taka nazwali ze względu na jasne włosy.
