    Fried Layer Sandwich | Delicious Street Food Recipe
    In this video, we'll show you how to make a mouth-watering Fried Layer Sandwich. This delectable street food recipe features a spicy potato filling, zesty green chutney, and a crispy besan coating.     Ingredients:
    For Green Chutney:
    1 medium onion, chopped
    4 green chillies
    7 garlic cloves
    1/2 inch piece of ginger
    A small piece of tamarind
    A handful of mint leaves
    A handful of coriander leaves
    Salt, to taste
    For Potato Filling:
    2 boiled potatoes, mashed
    4 garlic cloves, finely chopped
    1 small piece of ginger, finely chopped
    1 green chilli, finely chopped
    1/2 tsp red chilli powder
    1/4 tsp cumin powder
    1/4 tsp garam masala
    1/4 tsp chat masala
    1/2 tsp black pepper powder
    Coriander leaves, chopped
    Salt, to taste
    1 tbsp cooking oil
    For Batter:
    2 cups besan (gram flour)
    Salt, to taste
    Water (enough to make a thick batter)
    (1 cup = 250 ml)
    For Sandwich:
    12 slices of bread (sides trimmed)
    Cooking oil, for deep frying
    Step-by-Step Instructions:
    1. Boil and Mash Potatoes:
    Boil 2 potatoes until tender. Remove the skin and mash them. Set aside.
    2. Prepare Green Chutney:
    In a blender, add 1 chopped onion, 4 green chillies, 7 garlic cloves, 1/2 inch ginger, a small piece of tamarind, a handful of mint leaves, a handful of coriander leaves, and salt. Blend until smooth to make chutney. Set aside.
    3. Prepare Potato Filling:
    Heat a pan with 1 tbsp of cooking oil.
    Add 4 finely chopped garlic cloves, 1 small finely chopped piece of ginger, and 1 finely chopped green chilli. Sauté for 2 minutes until semi-golden.
    Add 1/2 tsp red chilli powder, 1/4 tsp cumin powder, 1/4 tsp garam masala, 1/4 tsp chat masala, and 1/2 tsp black pepper powder. Sauté until the raw smell goes away.
    Add the mashed potatoes and mix well.
    Add salt to taste and chopped coriander leaves. Combine well and set aside.
    4. Prepare Batter:
    In a mixing bowl, add 2 cups of besan and salt to taste.
    Add enough water to make a thick batter. Mix well until smooth and set aside.
    5. Assemble the Layer Sandwich:
    Take 3 slices of bread and cut off the sides.
    Place some potato filling on the first bread slice and spread it evenly.
    Cover with the second bread slice. Spread green chutney evenly over this slice.
    Cover with the third bread slice to complete the sandwich.
    6. Fry the Sandwich:
    Heat a deep pan with enough cooking oil for deep frying.
    Dip the assembled sandwich in the batter, ensuring it is fully coated.
    Fry the sandwich until golden brown and crispy.
    Remove from oil and drain on a paper towel.
    7. Serve:
    Cut the fried sandwich into pieces and serve hot.
