Unai Emery just keeps on impressing me as time goes on, he's so humble, respectful, honest, level headed, mature & never makes excuses or blames others when things don't go his way etc. He is a credit to our club & many other managers should take note of the way Unai conducts himself, already a very popular figure at Villa & in such a short space of time. What impresses me most is if we have a bad game he fixes it immediately and we get a great result next game.
Unai is Villa and Villa is Unai. There's no other manager I would want in charge of our rise from the ashes. If I hear the Champions League theme at Villa Park I would let him have my wife for the night 😂😂😂.

Chaps, great show. On your debate about post half time performance. I’d look at the opposition perhaps. We know Emery is super steady, stay calm and always stick to the game plan, is always his message even when we’re behind. He might tweak at half time but Villa come out and carry on, steady. Usually with a lead. My guess is that the opposition are usually roused, refreshed and wound up so come out full throttle. Emery will expect this and want Villa to calmly ride it out. No panic, no goals.😊

The pitch and the woven plastic grass has alot to do with injuries ask yourself why does the pitch have to be watered before and during the game half time , its to make the ball move properly so this must have a affect on knees and ankles on all teams

Pitches haven’t changed for years. The reason injuries are prevalent across the league is number of games / knock on effect of winter WC.

I agree I like and appreciate Unai's demeanor and how he handles himself in all situations especially in contrast to other managers. The comments by other managers don't bother me too much, per O'Neil's comments it may have been in great part aimed at his players and fans to keep heads up too.

Pep has never had to work with "what he's got" and within a budget. He would clearly improve any team he took on, just as Unai has done with us, but what about thereafter, with financial constrictions? Will we ever know?!
The answer to your question is no, Pep won't EVER take on a job with those type of challenges! If Manchester City get severely punished by the Premier League for their FFP rule break charges, and are relegated because of it, you won't see him remain as manager in a lower division, not a chance!

Number of games is not the reason for injuries. If it was, how does that explain Mings and Buendia ?
It is probably the reason for the injuries we’ve picked up recently. In terms of Mings and Buendia those kinds of injuries are just bad luck.
Tough fixture list for the Villa. Might be a bridge too far and I'm sure Man Utd and Spurs will get lots of penalties and as much added time as they need to get the CL places.

We have 5 very winnable games remaining, looking at Spurs remaining games I'd say 5 wins will get us 4th.
duran should be a lot better holding the ball up,,, not the best movement and poor control and does not have an affinity with any of the players around him
