Join Coach Tara as she explains the top reasons why new archers hit their bow arm when shooting archery! She will go over each reason and then explain how to fix the mistake!
As a new Archer this tutorial is so very timely. My forearm is ecstatic!
Wow that's like a double jointed elbow.
These were all excellent tips and your explanation is clear and understandable with a hands-on demo to show your viewers. Thank you for
this helpful video.
I wish I had found you before tearing up my arm 😂I was too excited to wait for my arm guard to come in the mail!!!!
Oh no! LOL Hope it's better now!
Excellent explanations for a novice archer, thanks
Glad it was helpful!
@@ArcheryHouse I think I was pretty much doing everything wrong. I hit stuff but repeated got twanged, until I gave up. Now at least I can work on it. Cheers.
Thank you for this video, Coach Tara! I have a hard time with hitting my arm, and after watching this, I see I need to work on over-extending and keeping my shoulder low.
You're welcome! Glad it helped!
Thank you. This is so helpful
I am so glad this helped you, Ken! 😁
Thanks!
Good tips
Glad it was helpful!
This is great. In my last lesson i started hitting my arm frequently and couldn't figure out why. I just realised now that i changed my grip out of curiosity and must have been holding the bow too far over. Looking forward to correcting that in my next lesson.
Awesome! Let me know if that fixes it! Thanks for watching!
@@ArcheryHouse Late reply but i decided in the end that my grip was really comfortable so i changed my stance a little like in this video and i'm really happy with the results. I'm trying to figure out the perfect place to rest my hand when drawing the bow now, i sort of place it under my right jaw bone but it's not consistent enough. So i'm curious if you have a video or advice on a good point to lock in to before firing
Thank you for your videos!
Thank you! I enjoy making them! Hope it's helping others!
Women’s elbows are also different then men’s. We can both turn it in to different degrees, with practice
Lots of smoke
It was a foggy morning!
