Thanks for the great video Mikael! I see the orchestrator as a brilliant tool for quick writing, arrangement etc. Now there is midi drop there is also much more flexibility too. Very impressive! Worthy of note, it’s $398 in the current sale so a great time to jump in. I started on composer cloud years ago, stopped for nearly three years so this is my first EW library! :) thanks again for a brilliant presentation!

I think the best way to demonstrate the Divisi effect would be to play some single notes (everybody in unison) then go to a chord of 2 notes and then to 3 notes (splitting the same number of players amongst the different notes of the chord appropriately).
This is included in the composer cloud monthly 20$ package ... very nice

Can you show us your activity monitor and how much memory and cpu resources it uses while using multiple instances of Opus on Apple silicon Mac? Thanks! For large virtual orchestras with 128 instruments, can it run on a single Mac without using something like Vienna Ensemble Pro with multiple networked machines? The previous Play version was very resource intensive.
I had to chuckle at the load time comment because mine are in an external drive and it takes like 90 seconds to 3 mins to load everything

I am having serious trouble installing the Hollywood strings section. Many instruments are not getting unpacked and being left in zip files in the directory. Anybody else facing similar issues? Pls help
Michael what´s your take on this vs Sonuscore´s TOC? I have them both , found out they sort of compensate , there are some things I like better on EW and others on TOC. Sonuscore is WAY lighter on the CPU though . No complaints on any of them I love them both.

I subscribe to composer cloud but I don’t see an “Opus Orchestra” option to download. I just see the individual sections like strings, brass etc
You have to download all the sections to use the orchestrator

Last night I purchased several of your Cinematic Composition Tutorials (from UDEMY). I attempted to purchase the SCARY MUSIC tutorial and thought I had it after clicking on the name and after I bought everything, I noticed it wasn't among the purchases I made. I actually watched the tutorial to ensure that I wasn't making a mistake. The tutorial that was given instead of SCARY MUSIC was ACTION MUSIC. I actually screen-capture my steps so that you can see clearly what happened. I don't know where to upload the example video of what I actually did and you can clearly see what was actually given... I'd like to have Scary Music and you can lock me out of the ACTION MUSIC series... Thanks
Ah, no worries. All though I have no control over refunds myself on Udemy. So you need to simply use their support form and request a refund on the course. Then you can buy the other one if you wish to do so. support.udemy.com/hc/en-us

When you get Hollywood opus do you have to use the new interface, or is can you use the older play interface instead? I'm mainly wondering because I wanted to get eastwest solo violin, cello and harp.
Opus Edition only runs in the Opus engine
so, besides a good computer, what other hardware and software is needed to make music with this libray? total n00b here.
I think making music with this library requires that's beyond just a "good" computer. You need at LEAST 32GB RAM and an 1TB NVMe m.2 SSD. The RAM gets used VERY quickly.
Don't buy this library if you are a noob. Buy Nucleus from Audio Imperia, much simpler to use and MUCH less demanding of the computer.
