Exploring the fascinating world of Islam with my friend Faris Al Hammadi / @farishammadi I was extremely pleased to have this chat with him about all different topics regarding faith.
A very good conversation. It was good to see SartorialS with his prepared questions that he wanted answers to and also his recommended books and Faris's views on them.
Imam abu Hanifa famously passed a fatwa that new Muslims could pray in their native language. In those days like today many new Muslims were entering the religion from non Arab origins.
Brother Joule, I hope that you understand.. I know that you're a very wise person and like manhood, family principles and Islam's conservative way of life. I just want to remind ourselves to be super careful on who we sit with and promote.
I really love these two brothers for the sake of Allah. As long as you follow the sunnah you will never go astray, be firm on tawheed and follow the wisdom of the great Muslims of the past. The great imams and figures and you won't go astray.
Do yourself a favor and just read the Quran itself. Mainstream Muslims have put scripture on the shelf and instead prop up the oral tradition which the Quran never mandated. The Quran is what is true and what the mainstream have sadly conjured up are what Mumins are told to be true. Read translations like from Lahleh bakhtiar Sublime Quran and a translation from Monotheist group which uses the old manuscripts to compose a translation, and both are commentary free.
@mokhachoka2918 the only decent one among the mainstream denominations. Arberry gives a literal translation and so does the Monotheist Group which uses the old manuscripts to make the translations. Lahleh bakhtiar is good as well. Khattab puts to much commentary into it and uses brackets too much.
44:30 Must say thats the Most weak answers to those questions maaan yes we try to follow the noble Prophet sallAllahu Ve sellem in every step but there is always wisdom behind every rule like in every move in Salah and most of them is known. May Allah subhanehu Ve Teâla forgive and Guide us Amin
Faris is only kind and give much attention to rich people. Since Faris earned over 100k followers on Instagram, his attitude towards average Muslims rapidly changed. But Faris might realize this 'the more recognition you get the more you'll be explored'
I met him in person a few weeks ago, and went a number of his classes since. He is very kind to everyone, and despite the huge amount of people that want to talk to him, he gives every single one of them time and does not walk away until they’re finished with whatever they wanted to say- except every once in a while if he’s in a rush. I never met him before his many followers, but the way he is now, he is very kind and respectful. Fear Allah with your tongue.
A truly mature person does not limit his mind by any religion or other philosophy. Sartorial tries to find guidelines in every little thing about life. No. A truly free person, does not have anything limiting or guiding his beliefs. Learn from your mistakes, be free and use your free thoughts!
Religion is a worldview, and it must be scrutinized just like any other. The beauty is that the Quran presents a worldview that resonates with the heart of those who are sincere.
Most who think are "free thinkers " are not to this extent. If you are you start a religion of your own that's comparable in quality. Trying to be too much of a free thinkers is dangerous for the vast majority
I have spent years into Scientology both in New York and Los Angeles. Scientology speaks about masculinity as well. It just does not have all these sartorial selections. These black costumes. I mean, these are not needed... Religion is your thoughts. You do not need to dress like all this black. I mean the clothes do not make the man. What is your take?
Whatever you say , the truth is , we are a small tiny planet. nobody cares for us. And after death, there is nothing. Sadly. We are just a variation of other animals. Just observe animals and see how many similarities there are. Sad but true.
If God wills, we find Islam of Abrahamic Monotheism, not corrupted Hadiths of Abu Huraira et al. The Arabic Quran contains God's words, all of it (in One Book), Quran brings clarification, Hadith brings confusion. Which convert is invited to Islam by the volumes of Hadith? How many Muslims have read all the volumes of Hadith? Allahu nazzala ahsana alHadithi... [Quran chp 39 ver 23]. fabiayyi Hadithin badahu yuminuna. [Quran chp 77 ver 50].
Great content but I must say that I also have daughters and femininity means they do not go to martial arts, but are submissive. I mean, a woman must always hide behind her husband and always walk around with him. And instead of doing martial arts, she must always have him around so that he protects her. Sartorial can you respond please? When you send your daughters to martial arts, they grow the masculine side and this is haram . Right? Ask our Sheikh next time.
If you listen carefully our Sheikh when he spoke about masculinity he spoke AGAINST wearing a SUIT. Yet, Sartorial is all over the place online and offline teaching the importance of wearing a Suit !!! In the Fresh and Fit he said that he even thinks of opening his own Shop and sell Suits! What is the correct way here then? Sartorial can you clarify this topic?
There is 0 evidence in Islam for not wearing a suit. The Sunna is to dress like the people of the country you're living in / the community you're in AS LONG AS that common way of dressing in your country/community does not contradict with the principle of modesty, which both, men and women must follow. As for Satorial, he's living in the UAE, so he could chose to dress the traditional way like in this video or just the dress (mostly suits) he's wearing most of the time. Islamic dress code can be broken down to two simple rules: 1) It should be modest and should cover the Awrah. - 2) It should not be a magnet of attention, meaning it should not lead to people pointing fingers at you or starring at you. - That does not mean however that for example a woman should not wear the Hijab in Islamophobic France. The order is: 1) Fulfilling religious obligations (Hijab) and modesty (men&women) - 2) Try to fit into the society you're living in without compromising your religion.
This is the problem, Only God decides what is haram, which of God's words in Quran instruct this issue of "wearing a suit"? Are you more worried about suits than righteousness? ... walibasu altaqwa dhalika khayrun... [Quran chp 7 ver 26]
Dude, what is right or wrong sometimes depends on context.. For arabs, it it frowned upon to wear suit as its not their culture... Its okay to do so when visiting those cultures that wear one For sartorial, it is his culture to wear suit, he can wear thobes as well when he is in a culture that wear one What is haram is resembling other religion, like wearing priesty or monk attire
@@asmrnaturecat984 brother, I am an Arab myself and never in my entire life have I heard from another Arab that wearing a suit is frowned upon. We have traditional dresses, but were them mostly on specific events like Eid or just when we feel like to wear it. You might have two men from the same family on Eid or on a wedding, where one wears a suit and the other one a traditional dress. Absolutely normal and no one will judge you or give you a weird look. As said, as long as it doesn‘t contradict the Deen and the Awrah is covered, do as you wish. Note: I‘m Moroccan and what I said applies to Morocco, Algeria and Tunisia. It might be different in the Arabic Peninsula.
Fan of Sartorial from Israel. Judaism says exactly the same things. Budaism and Christianity the same. All religions are paths to self maturity. Muhammed message it the final update that clean all the mess, God words is the proof , Muhammed is the messenger who convey it. "Iqra" is the first word reveled to him. it translated "read" or "recite". the revelation was complied in one volume called "al-quran" which means the recitation. it was memorized and recited by the Prophet and his companies and passed from generation to another. we have this days millions of Muslim who memorize the Quran completely in its original form and language, some of them who which have the chain of authentication until the Prophet, the name of the reciter who has authenticate the accuracy of their recitation, then the name of the person who has authenticate the authenticator and so on until the chain end to the Prophet himself. This emphasis that what Muslim has is not just a "book" it is a preserved book over 1444 years there is nothing in history come even close to that. So I invite every one to "read". and seek the truth in this short live . “Read in the name of thy Lord who created; [He] created the human being from blood clot.
