When I was 4 I remember my father playing this level while we feasted on pizza. Now whenever I replay this game and get to this level I always get hungry for pizza. :/
Bill Gates may be the richest guy on the planet, but I'm quite sure he's not cool enough to keep his gold laying all around his house nor he has a pet Gold-BAT !!
I love this track. So much groove, that thumping bass is awesome, the progressive elements the twists in the journey, the flurried accents, love it all! This is probably my favorite in this OST, with Simon's Theme being a close second and this game's rendition of Bloody Tears a third.
@1:08 the subtle descending 16th notes that jump sides every 8th beat in stereo (R->L in this version) are so incredible. The front half punch out above the melody as "do-do~" in the right ear because the back half sinks and harmonizes into the driving melody, especially when the organ gets added. I read too deep into it, but it just feels like jumping up and leaping down into a pile of gold over and over again. At the same time the bass line is by far the most oppressive element, setting this rushed pace. But, the horns drive through it, then the flute refreshes the phrase, but brings in the hero's organ motif through the second, which again flute refreshes and swells into a third phrase triumphant build up without the jumping 16ths. Ultimately, you are on a pace to complete the game, despite missing that jump from the treasure chest again and again = p
The best wallpaper art from one of the best old school platformer games ever. There will truly never be another like it. Ive been playing it since i was 4 back in 93
@@timmyjimmy7413 not really an excuse since songs from Bloodlines have been used in other games. Shrinking old sanctuary wasn't used for water levels, it was the theme for the central part of the castle in Circle of the Moon. Iron blue intention wasn't used for levels with machinery/factories or a clock tower, it was used for a city stage in Portrait of Ruin.
By far the funkiest tune in a game soundtrack that is mostly dark, somber & often depressing. In fact, only the Submerged City, Library & Simon's theme(kinda) are almost equal in funk! Hahahahaha!!
Beautiful!!! Just beautiful and mesmerizing this stage was...from the gold itself to the Golden skeletons. And finally the Golden Bat....So magical!!!😊😀
I love how this was the stage for the giant bat, which instead of making a literal giant bat, they just made it the ghost of a giant bat that's made of gold coins
As someone else already put it: "after so much of good yet dreary & despair sounding tunes, it's time to get funky!" This one right here proves it! Lol
There's basically gold skeletons capable to throw unlimited bones down there. Gold bones. Dracula has the power to wreck the world, your ass... ...and also the economy as well. 👏
The entire OST of Super Castlevania 4 is among one of the best in the entire series. I love the metroidvanias and their music but they never will compare to this game or those before it.
Classic snes game and really showed off the power of the snes and sound chip which is cool that the man who created the Sony playstation helped make the sound chip for the snes so is basically a ps1 sound chip
You may be rich, but you'll never be having skeletons made of gold rich...
LMAO
Yeah that would be completely ridiculous hahaha oh wait...
^^
Great, now I'm imagining BrandO trying to sing just that to this tune..
Donald Trump called... he wants to buy a golden skeleton to decorate his wall
VERY underrated masterpiece.
This one cries for a metal cover!
EXACTLY
Why does no one know about this?! It doesn't even have a name as far as I know.
@@FoxIord Apparently the name is just "Treasure Room"
So true all this soundtrack is gold
Hearing this makes me forget that this game was released in 92. It's just that damn far ahead of its time.
Captain Vulcan *'91, but I agree with you.
***** Whoops. =P
+Captain Vulcan The PAL version came out in 1992.
+Captain Vulcan I got it in 1992, so I first experienced its greatness then as well. That being said, I agree with you on all counts.
But it still used a password system...
The most underrated song in the whole soundtrack!
I love how this song repeats, but not to the very beginning of the song. Great music design in this game.
Chris Wood
I totally agree with you, 100%.

what a coincidence im currently eating pizza at the moment while listening the games soundtrack
Thanks... now you have cursed me as well 😂😂😂
CrimsonReaperBX when was that, the 1990's? I'd love to know. especially since that was a fond decade for SNES.
Pavlov at its finest haha
I love hearing memories like that!
my favorite track in the game!
I know everyone dunks on them, but I loved the rising ghosts in the background of this level.
My favorite tune in this game, and the stage is pretty fun too. Don't forget to Moonwalk up and down the stairs. XD
Bill Gates may be the richest guy on the planet, but I'm quite sure he's not cool enough to keep his gold laying all around his house nor he has a pet Gold-BAT !!
Let alone gold skeletons!
When you see the surfing skeleton you cannot unseen it
dammit...
I am dead 😂
i've always seen him, since day one
Wut
I'd call it "sliding skeleton"
I only see praise for these songs on here, that's proof this game is one of the best around soundtrack wise.
0:50 that bass piano, it hits just right. 🤌

That one room where every candle and enemy drops moneybags and gets you like two extra lives from points alone is really addictive...

In layman's terms: great fuckin tune especially for da SNES era ;)! Lololol
Absolutely the best song
Either that or Clockwork Mansion 2
The best wallpaper art from one of the best old school platformer games ever. There will truly never be another like it. Ive been playing it since i was 4 back in 93
This game has a stunning soundtrack
It takes a minute…but this track is slammin.
This is the most international youtube comments section i've ever seen.
Hard mode = this skeleton T_T
3 people never found any treasure
+VasaaL Hahaha you made my day x)
Not sure about them, but I found meat and a HUGE room of treasure!! XD
Love this comment!
Love this song .Im surprised it never got used again in the later games.
There hasn't been a treasury level in the later games.

The treasure in this scene is not the gold. Is the soundtrack
1:31 MASTERPIECE.
My absolutely favorite Song
I always refereed to this stage as the gold room.
who didnt? lol :D
Gold Stage!
This stage would totally fit in "My crib show" when Dracula shows his whole castle with golden skeletons
Those poor souls that had the will to click 'dislike' must be great at parties..
One of the best never tiring songs in the game. :)
Still listening to this, decades after.
This theme was amazing but also hilarious. Love the discordant piano at first and how the organ fades in after that.
The boss should probably had been a dragon, ya'know to maybe reference Smaug from the Hobbit?
Mmmm....that bass...and that...Everything!
My dad came thru when he got me this for Christmas
yo dad bad ass !!!
Holy heck 1:31 is brilliant!
Lovee that bass goin crazy
1:17 I love the sound of these 4 notes in this section-it has a dramatic-sinister feeling.
1:32 best part ever, love Castlevania... pff... Super Castlevania IV best game ever!
Right?!
Uhhh, no, not even close, it's one of the best yeah, but THE best? Not a single game gets to have that title.
Yehia Falcon everyone has their opinions, but yeah you can’t really have “the best game”.
Definitely one of the best songs in this game. Awfully sad that it hasn’t been used in the series since I don’t think.
My favorite song from this game.

Best song in the game and hardly anyone knows it.
This should have been brought back at some point in time, it's excellent.
It's too amazing for having been made by a human being!
I love how this was the stage for the giant bat, which instead of making a literal giant bat, they just made it the ghost of a giant bat that's made of gold coins
Reminds me so much of those skeletons and bats. But actually the level designs is impressive. It makes the castle felt alive, with these level design.
They composed the hell out of this music.
As someone else already put it: "after so much of good yet dreary & despair sounding tunes, it's time to get funky!" This one right here proves it! Lol
As a kid I didn't realize how long the music tracks actually were.
This stage was Golden!
Literally ;).........
There's basically gold skeletons capable to throw unlimited bones down there.
Gold bones.
Dracula has the power to wreck the world, your ass...
...and also the economy as well. 👏
Loved Simon's Quest on the Nes as a kid, so hearing this upgraded version when CV4 dropped, was awesome.
Which theme is this a remix of?
What song are your alluding to from Simon's Quest??
I think he messed up Vampire Killer and that
He's probably thinking of "Bloody Tears."
Favorite theme from the game
I'll definitely agree with some this is a super underrated track in the CV lineup, I'm rather surprised it hasn't appeared again or gotten rearranged.
esa cancion me trae recuerdos de mi infancia.... grasias por subirla
This Castlevania is very Epic, Music Battle Graphics and enemys just a Master Piece of Snes
No dislilkes! Awesome! The song really picks up at 1:08
Belmont keeps stealing all my cash!!

This song is a masterpiece that lives on in our 💕
They could re-release this track with updated VST instruments and make a killing.
Todavia recuerdo el sonido de los bloques cayendo al principio del nivel
Man, you can't deny since the NES era the Castlevania series was far ahead of its time.
Exelente! Me encanta este soundtrack!
Y'all get down to this? Damn, u got good taste.
u2 bud ;)
If you want more, you should play this game. I was introduced to this game through this song, and it was pretty rad through and through 🤙
Ikr? ;)
We're all persons of culture here!
I love the soundtrack just love it
For god sake! the composer of SC4 soundtrack is modern day Mozart!
Awesome tune. Funny thing is that I get a Disney park vibe from this level.
I agree. Haunted mansion all the way.
Best song in the game, so underrated
When I die, make sure my skeleton is gold plated
I used to play this game in the day that was way way back then I'm 36 now. Still willing to play it all over again
i aways imagine the skeleton asking:
"you bearer of the vampire killer, defeat us in battle and release our souls from this nightmare"
