Granted, mine is spec'd differently (and is an xl frame size compared to the medium I built originally). But I would definitely say that the E10 is not a gender specific ebike. It Is approachable to alot of riders.

    • @neekodevinchi
      @neekodevinchi  Před 2 lety +1

Sincere apologies for the delay Frits.
Initial observations between the two reveals that the E22 is more supple and provides better traction at high speed on choppy sections of trails without sapping speed.
The E10 (being lighter), is able to accelerate quicker and can perform quicker line corrections, to ensure that you pick the line best suited to get you through any obstacle you encounter.
Regarding slow technical manoeuvres, I am leaning towards the E22. Although, this could be due to the motor tune as I find the M620 motor more intuitive compared to either the M500/M600 (early days on the M510).
Hope this somewhat helps but I'll be sure to elaborate on the above when the video publishes 👍🏿

Interesting video. Despite my quick search, including your link, I can't find a Dengfu E10 or E22. I bought the Dengfu E05 which seems to match the 29er bike on the ebay "carbon-cycle". I bought mine directly from Dengfu since I'm a Brit living in Mongolia, next door to China. Although we don't have any laws about speed limits, my bike is limited to 45 km/h.
I'm really happy with mine except I broke the SRAM eagle SX rear derailleur which is probably not the bike's fault. Waiting for replacement parts now from the UK.

@@neekodevinchi My Dengfu E05 seems like a fantastic eMTB but I didn't have anything to compare it to. The famous western brands are very rare in Mongolia due to high price. I've owned standard mountain bikes in the past but eMTB's are totally different.
Just for comparison's sake, I paid £2600 for mine with SRAM eagle components which was an upgrade from SRIDE components. The component choices are quite premium, as far as I can tell but I'm not an expert.
The suspension travel is "only" 120mm but it's fine for my purposes.

Using the spare parts I had lying around (Lyrik RC 180MM fork & spare WTB wheelset), this build cost me just under £2100.
It is worth mentioning similar to the E22, Carbon Cycle did give me a discount and some of the components I'm running reflects the price (brakes, drivetrain, tyres).
But the bike is trail ready so I can atleast become familiar with the platform.

In your circumstances, I would say that either the E10 (Luna x2) or E22 (Luna Z1) would be suitable.
However, what makes the two bikes different would be the way a rider engages with the overall platforms. The E10 is more active "keeps you on your toes". Whereas the E22 is more carefree and burly "it doesn't get phased by the technical/hardcore terrain".

Personally, I've always been a big believer that its easier to shrink/shorten a bigger/longer bike compared to lengthening a smaller bike.
At 6foot, you could go with either the Large or X-large.
You may find the reach of 510mm on the XL a bit long, especially if you prefer something like 485mm for a large.
Some of my riding friends who have rode my XL E10s who are roughly your height, prefer the stability of a longer frame. Others, prefer a shorter/flickable frame.
