As great as it is, the surprise element can only work in a semi-formal event, but not in working situation especially if we're giving ideas. I mostly just used image>text principle, 3 color palette design, and add simple animation that'll make the presentation flows easier. It's still fun to watch your animation tho, would love to have that in a class session back then :)

Nah I wouldn’t even try this in class, education system isn’t open to creativity.
With that level of efforts and skills in animation, he could have used it to demonstrate his ideas better instead of making meaningless gag.

That's what I did. I was doing a presentation during a business meeting. My boss's boss's boss (you get the point) were all there. I personally left photos of each of them cheating with their affair partner in the slides at certain points in the presentation. It was a quick click to the next slide and the horror of their faces was priceless. Why did I do it? Their wives paid me to do it.

I was once being special and made a video for my presentation about advertisement and the different ways they persuade you to buy stuff. It was a vid where I kinda showed these ways in a funny, over the top way with a silly example of “special premium paper that’ll make all your writing better and help you make friends” to illustrate the points I made in the rest of the presentation. Spent a lot of time on it and was happy with the result. Buut for some reason, it refused to open the video on the school computers so I had to leave that part out :(
At least the rest of my presentation was still ok and I got a decent mark.

If you embed the video in your power point, you need to copy the video file together in the same folder with the power point.
