Love the outro. A very refined rap song. Top tier beat. Just a high standard he is hitting.

After having listened to Ren's Chapter Series Intently and multiple times, this track just encapsulates his story so well and serves as musical accompaniment for The Chapters. Ren's experiences are very familiar to me to say the least, as is often the case with many of his supporters. Ren's success is so deserved and I do truly hope it continues. Ren is the medicine many of us need. So raw, combined with his naturally emotive performance! Indeed Ren....Your Limo has finally arrived...Great Reaction and a poignant narrative supporting Ren's Message...

(the Ren-specific things I've written below are of course mostly just bits and pieces of regurgitated info from his Chapters readings).
    This song is so important.
You're 100% right, of course, that we need to get this song to those with ME/fibro/Long Covid/Lyme etc because anything that can give them hope and bring them any measure of feeling seen is critical.
We also need to get this song out to EVERYONE because it needs to catch those who direct or are involved in medical research, as well as doctors and nurses etc.
It needs to catch younger people's attention to help find those who it'll help become interested in becoming those things.
And it needs to catch EVERYONE's attention because it will help ensure that when eventually someone they know comes down with something strange, that they understand that this is what the onset of some chronic illnesses look like.
It's not your friend being dramatic and attention-seeking
It's not your coworker being faking being sick so they don't have to pull their weight
It's not your daughter "having a bad attitude" and expecting the world to revolve around her.
Ren released this for ME Awareness Week. He and so many others changed their social media profile pictures to the Missing graphic, which is the short form of the ME Awareness Week's hashtag #MissingMillions.
... "posters up, manhunt, Ren went missing" ...
A decade-ish ago, while misdiagnosed with ME, Ren was included in a documentary on Jennifer Brea's journey through ME (called Unrest) because of his ME health blogs. She asked him to write a song for the documentary, and he came up with the brilliant and gutting "Patience," and the clip from Unrest that features him is available by searching for Ren Gill Patience, on Ayesha Jones CZcams channel (& it's one of the videos he shared in his readings of his Chapters writings).
Back then, he pledged to the ME community that if he ever made it out, that he'd keep trying to bring awareness and push for a cure.
Of course his ME turned out to be Lyme & Lyme-related problems, so he raises awareness for the whole cluster of ME-like chronic diseases that trap people in their beds. People who go missing from life.
This will be the first song ever about ME or Lyme that charts, apparently.
I know not everyone who hears it will find out that it's ME Awareness Week - oh, the irony of it all - but every tiny bit of awareness generated and, importantly, understanding and empathy created, is desperately needed. So even those who have no idea that Ren timed the release of the song for #MissingMillions, will still benefit what Ren's trying to do.
Art is viral. Long before social media, art was viral. Art is how you transmit ideas - art turns ideas into feelings and beliefs in people's hearts.
People are too quick to dismiss the suffering of others. People are too willing to abandon friends and family members who come down with illness. I get it, it's difficult to support someone whose life is consumed by pain and discomfort, who has a limited ability to participate in *your* life. Who if you want to stay in touch, it changes at least some aspects of *your* life. But far too often, the stage is set for these people to be abandoned because they're not believed in the early stages of the condition - often before diagnosis, or in the early days of being diagnosed. Their weird symptoms don't make sense to people and they're written off as making excuses/trying to be emotionally manipulative/feeling a sense of entitlement/sulking/being toxic and any other number of things that erode relationships. So when things only get worse, it's easy to abandon that friend - "they changed, we used to be good friends, but I just don't enjoy being around them anymore."
Awareness is needed that this is what it looks like to come down with chronic illness.
And if we functional people stop abandoning sick people, we go out into the wider world and talk about our involvement in their situation to others, and that raises even more awareness and generates even more of a pull for research for treatment options and cures.
I'm "just" on Disability for treatment-resistant mental health issues, but I've gone missing from life too. At least I don't have the physical torture that has to be endured by ME etc sufferers, but when you can't participate in "normal" life for an extended period of time, or when you can only participate inconsistently, people just... disappear from around you.
And another irony - I suspect CZcams is hiding this song somewhat. I was weirded out that I wasn't seeing reactors who normally keep up with what Ren's doing, show up on my feed with reactions to this song. I've largely had to stop by channels individually, or search "react Ren Troubles" to find most of them - even reactors like you whose channels I'm subscribed to. I suspect the lyrics about self harm have the algorithm suppressing it.
You posted your reaction 2 days ago and it *just* came up in a search for me today. I've searched at least 5 or 6 times in that time period.
I've never encountered anything like it. Sure, maybe videos not showing up as *suggestions* from CZcams, but... not coming up in searches????? And like I say, it's not just yours.
    Just... wow.
Anyway. Sorry for the novel. Loved your reaction. You did such a good job of articulating why the song is important beyond "just" being a good track. Furious that I might not have found your video for weeks.

There is no need to apologize for the length of your comment. Words that are important need to be said or read.
REN is, IMHO, one of the most important artists I have ever seen and I hope that someday his influence becomes just as massive as his importance.
I am sorry to hear of your own struggles and I wish the best for you. You are not alone.
CZcams is weird like that sometimes. It might be because of subject matter or improper SEO? In either case, channels are somewhat stratified when it comes to popping up in a search. The more subscribers you have the more you're going to show up in a search in a higher order and get recommended. I only started about 6 or 7 months ago but over time, I will inch my way up that search engine results order. :-)
Thank you for your very informative comments, and thank you for your confidence. Have a great day!

You're welcome and thank you so very much for leaving your comment. Ren is a phenomenal talent that has lived what he raps and sings about.
The fact that he is not more popular or well known is just another symptom of how screwed up the music industry is.
      Spread the word!
