- The plan is in place for the HQ Pem's comeback.
Jimmy bought an addition to the fleet.
Plus where have we been?
Personal injury caused things to slow right down.
Good stuff , can't wait to see more
Good shit fellas nice to see yous back
@dwaynecounsell3854
Cheers mate
Mate. Absolutely love hq-wb stuff so very much looking forward to your plans. Take care of yourself, don't set yourself back being impatient. Can you show us a safe way of removing front Springs when no engine/weight is in front. Thanks
@poydapoyderson646
Thanks for the support and yes trying not to push things too hard.
Don't think we have a project coming up that needs a spring change without the engine installed (will keep it in mind). In the mean time look up in internal spring compressors, they make one that goes down through the top shock hole and grabs the spring from the inside. Hope that helps
Great idea to restore the HQ and mod the HZ. Makes sense when it’s a low mileage original numbers car. Look after your wrist buddy

Cheers mate
Really did seem a waste to break apart a matching car. We are really pleased that the general consensus agrees.
You might want to check with the RTA whether it's legal to put a Chev in a HZ. There used to be a rule if you put a Chev in a HZ it had to solely run on LPG, HQ HJ not a problem. The rule may have changed but not to my knowledge.
@rayvreman2002
Yeah mate from what we are aware you are probably right.
Guess it might be one of those things we cross when we get to it.
First though we are aiming at making the rest of the ute safe to drive around on the factory six cylinder.
The 179 cu in motor was only found in EH & HD models.
@johnhutchinson9714
Ahhh knew it was engine size in there somewhere. Not quite up to speed on all the 6cyl sizes.
Cheers for the info
