I have a superstar 3900 bought for $20 , same radio even board the same fixed it reasonably easy, Now I have this 959 can't seem to fix it no matter what I do everything checks good But nothing works (checked Transistors, resistors, diodes, caps ) Does anyone know where there is a service manual for this radio (or any other radio with the same board) with voltages listed? that's easiest way to find problem that I've found in the past. Shame this radio is in great shape looks like brand new

My DX 99V did the same thing it was the frequency board had a cold solder joint
I have a DX959 that needs your expertise or tell me where that I can find a replacement main circuit board please! 😢

I don't understand if you recommend not to do it why show how to make it work..clearly it is slowly damaging the radio
