Agreed Dan, apart from he only fired on all cylinders until February the first season. I was amazed the club didn’t bight Burnley’s hand off even for 10 mill.

On form he is 10 million pound player but I reckon he go for 4 million.
Flemming has a year then the club have option for a further year so gives us more of a bargaining tool for his price.
When esse gets into those positions, he’s dangerous. Both of the goals he scored against Middlesbrough and Coventry were him getting a cross from the edge of the box. I’m really excited for esse next season. I think we will get 6-7 million for Flemming as well.
I don’t get why esse don’t get a run in the team.

Archie gray for Leeds is 18 years old, same as esse. He's played every game this season. Esse needs to get the starts and show us what he can do week in week out.
@@samwhaler9369 he’s also different class in comparison. Playing in a side a lot better than ours. They could afford to risk him more than we could afford to risk Esse for certain games. Especially under Harris, his job was about just getting us safe. Archie gray is also being watched by Real Madrid and Bayern Munich if you believe the press. Different levels.
Quality player who will do well in the right team. The Ipswich manager is no mug. Current market I would value him about £8 million.

It doesn’t surprise me that his name keeps rising to the top. I know that he hasn’t been the same as last year and I agree that he hasn’t been playing in probably his preferred position for a bunch of it. But he does have something about him and it’s just about making sure that we don’t lose out like we did with Jed.
Someone said that we have a years option on him as well. I don’t know if that’s true, but he can fund another couple of positions then that’s good business. Especially if Esse can fill the void.
But it’s gotta be a sale and not a loan with an option. With a sell on clause for good measure

Fleming is our only REAL creative player but has 2 players on him with a 3rd lurking, nearby. If he goes to any Premier League team then he will NOT be the player that the opposition worries about and THEN, free from the shackles, you will see a vastly improved player and we will say "Why couldn't he do that for us?" LOL
We should be ADDING Tanganga et al AROUND him but,of course,he will just pay dor 2 or 3 others to come in.We NEVER learn..
We generate no money. We are a small club all clubs sell to bigger clubs. It’s about development of youngsters and getting top money for them.

@@IsleofskyeFulham have always had massively rich owners, Bournemouth were backed by a Russian billionaire when they got out of this league. Brentford started using the stats scouting system in this country first, and reaped the rewards, now everyone does it. They also bought low, sold big. Luton are the only club who’ve done it without having players who should have got them there.

Difficult to judge a player in a season with 3 managers.
Even at your low-ball estimate, signing Flemming for £5m would still break the Ipswich transfer fee which has stood for 20 years. One of McKenna's many strengths is his actual coaching ability; if there's a tune to be had out of Flemming, McKenna will get it. We're also looking at Ben Sheaf in midfield. Our main targets for the Prem will be defenders and a new goalkeeper.

Town fan here. Thanks for an interesting insight. Flemming story has been doing the rounds (possibly via his agent, as you say) but he doesn't sound like the kind of character that McKenna will be breaking the transfer record for. We're going to need pace and strength in the Prem. Perhaps Spain would be a more suitable destination for him?

Fleming can do one couple of good months when he 1st came in but once transfer bids came it he thought he had made it

Any good player ain't a flash in the pan I don't think he will prosper because a gifted hungry player proves it over any season for the sake of showing skill.

Said a while ago, Flemming wants to leave, his only intetest is money, same as Tanganga. There is no loyalty with these type of players, its all about money and that will upset the rest of the squad. Creswell is a millwall type player and should go for him. Look what he gave us, goals, tackles and he went in sometimes injuring himself. He gave it his all and unless he doesn't want to come to us, then put in a decent offer for him.

Did you see The Doc about 1/6th of Premier League players,2 years ago, came from South East London i.e.on our doorstep, and yet we just get the odd one, only to sell him at his peak or like Cahill,Morison, Armstrong,we bring them on and take them back when they are in their last year or so. t loses its novelty after 62 years attending and following them from Carlisle down to Plymouth. Unfortunately,I have re-discovered all my passion and ambition for us and I want the Club to do the same.

More good news. Flemming has been lazy all season. Time for Him to move on to pastures new ... Finally!
He's sulked all season. He was the worst #10 i see all season. Lazy laboured and unintterested. Admiittedly injuries in other positions disrupted our season and suply line, but he's definstely bettter than he showed.
I said we should have sold him. He's still worth 6-8m imo.
The club dug their heals in last summer so they need to be realistic. I think there's a sell on fee for his old club an all so we won't accept anything for him. If we can get 2 permanent signings for him I'd be happy.
We'll soon find out.

I think if Flemming does want to go then he will go to one of the Spanish sides, I don’t think he’s suited to English football at the top level but I think he might see more success there. It’s weird though because when we’ve had a good player I’ve never been fine with them going but Flemming iam 🤷♂️
He's either a flash in the pan or has downed tools. Either way get rid for as much as we can. The insistence of going through him when we do have the ball is holding the team back.

Fleming is a player who doesn't like it when things aren't working for him . His head and heart definitely is not in it at Millwall. Milk it for anything we can get for him

Realistically 4mill,still twice what we paid for him. His head and heart not with us anymore. His recent form justifies no more than 4 mill. For me trying hard to get Tanganga and Cresswell,would be massive with what we already have. No Bart so another keeper will be brought in. Then I think Harris will look at getting a striker with some physical presence to lead the line. As I've seen he wants to go with wide men getting crosses in. So bit of a change from usual Harris tactics
Tanganga will be the same and is not a millwall type player and is starting to prove its only the money with him. Creswell is different and will fit in.
