Today my daughter is 52 yrs what a blessing I sang this when she was a baby it was so beautiful and soothing I thank the lord that today I can reflect on the beautiful woman and mother that she has become 😢😢❤
Shout out to my music teacher, Ron Foote, Jr, from Polk High School, Polk, NE in early 70s. Thank you for making the Girls' music class learn this song in 3 part harmony. It has stayed with me for life! I have sung it to many cats who loved it. Originally to 20 cats in a hay loft with the large door swung open. Never lost a single cat! And all joking behind. Now I sing it as a recent widow. Thank you, Mr. Foote!
