your commentary has been really interesting. I can answer a few questions for you.
-The People in the courtroom knew that brian had abused a minor and was being charged as such. They may not have known all the details but they knew the nature of the charges. Many of them even knew that it was Drake. A lot of the letters specifically name Drake (though it is redacted for legal reasons) and speak about him personally. One letter names his mom. A few mention his show (also redacted but you can tell)
-Will and Rider did a podcast (pod meets world) where they discussed their experiences with Brian Peck and stated that Brian told them some things and did admit guilt but not for everything and he made himself out as the victim before asking them to write letters and go to court for him. Its not known if all letter writers where told the same thing. You might be interested in re-acting to that podcast, its very interesting and gives more insight into Brian's manipulation and tactics. There is also a great interview Drake did that elaborates on a few things by a host named Yordi and its on youtube (along with a few other podcast interviews). Drake has since spoken to both Will and Rider.
-Brian took a plea deal. That means he agreed to 2 charges and registering as a SO and in turn they would not charge him with the other 9 counts. Pleading "No Contest" means he is not pleading guilty and admitting to it but he is accepting the conviction. CSA cases are notoriously difficult to take to trial(for many reasons) and awful for the victim involved, so they usually end in a plea deal to spare the child the trauma of a trial.
-many but not all of the letters are now publicly available online to read in full.

Since there’s a comment answered your questions but they didn’t answer the Drake bell child endangerment charge I do want to talk about it from my point view. It’s a little bit complicated so a disclaimer a long comment ahead.
They did 18 months investigation and Drake and his accuser phones were investigated by forensics and they didn’t find any explicit pictures like she claimed. She wrote a victim impact statement and in this statement she brought up horrendous new allegations that she did not bring up during the 18 months investigation she said things like he made her perform oral on him twice, one time in the backstage of a concert and the other time was in his hotel and she said that they knew each other and groomed her since she was 12 years old. The thing is there were eye witnesses that went against her claims and one of them was her friend Drake’s attorney read some of their testimonies and they all said that no such thing happened and she was never left alone with him and her friend said that the reason that the "victim" reported him was because he went against her liking. She also said that she’s in therapy because of what Drake did to her but they found out that she was already in therapy when she was talking to him. Drake’s attorney said that she continued going to 9 of his concerts despite her accusations of what he did to her. She also threw Drake’s then wife Janet under the bus and she claimed that she was a complicit but Janet denied the claims and said that the accuser stalked them and she told Janet that she was supposed to be the one that marry Drake and not her so according to Janet his accuser was an obsessive fan that got jealous of her. Drake said that the accuser was a fan who was spamming him on his DM’s and he replied to her but he didn’t think that she was a minor because she presented herself as an adult and he said that she lied about her age he also claimed that he didn’t know that the girl he was conversing with was the same girl that was going to his concerts and the meet and greets. The only thing mentioned about the text messages during the sentencing was that they had conversations with each other for years and there were claims that the chat became sexual in nature and then Drake asked her about her age and said hurry up and then he cut contact with her, his attorney was vague about what Drake meant by hurry up some people took it as hurry up and be 18 and other took it as hurry up and tell me your age but I think he meant the second one because his attorney also said that the claim that he’s a pedophile lacks any sort of factual support. At the end of the sentencing even the judge made an effort to clear that he didn’t plead guilty to sexual misconduct or engaging in sexual relations. I do wonder though what was being said in their chats because if it did become sexual by nature wouldn’t that also be considered cheating? But his then wife said that she knows everything that happened in the case she even got backlash for defending him at that time and she even said that this incident made them stronger they were together for about 2 years after this incident but they divorced for different reasons and they seem still close with each other so I guess he didn’t cheat on her. He plead guilty to attempted child endangerment and disseminating matter harmful to juvenile and was sentenced to 2 years probation, 200 hours of community service and he was not required to register as a sex offender. The media did blew his case out of proportion they spread so many misinformations like the New York Times magazine said that he’s a registered sex offender and only recently after the documentary they made a retraction and fixed it but after 3 years and the damage has been done. People said that he changed his name and fled to Mexico to avoid his legal troubles but he never changed his name and he didn’t move to Mexico he has been going to Mexico since 2008 and if they did some research they would know that for some reasons his career is flourishing in Mexico more than the states and in Mexico they actually did some research about his case unlike the states but he never moved there also he did serve his punishment so there’s no need to fleeing. People also took what his accuser said in her victim statement as what he actually plead guilty to but he didn’t plead guilty to SA’ing her. He said that he took the plea deal because his attorney told him that they see innocent people go in and guilty people go out and him going to trial it will take weeks and he just had a newborn and he didn’t want to spend his first weeks away from him and also the media will try and twist everything they can during the trial, the trial would cost a lot of money and he seemed like he was struggling financially wise and that why he accepted the plea deal. I’m sorry for this long comment I just wanted to explain everything and I’m sorry for my bad English because English is not my first language.
