I presume you didn't watch the video. But yes, for you, get a cheaper TN, or look into more responsive panels (see description).
What is your recommended best 240Hz monitor at the moment for competitive FPS?

Hey, great review just wonduring if you know if they fix'd the overdrive problem? I've thought about buying a 240hz monitor mainly fot CS:GO but also for other games, I thought about buying this monitor for 300 dollar or the BenQ ZOWIE XL2540K for 400 dollar, what do you think, is the delay really that bad that I should go for the BenQ?
Eddit: I'm from Denmark and here monitors are more expensive and both of these are on sale so these are mainly the ones I have to chose from.
They won't have fixed anything buddy. It's part of the feature of the panel so to speak.
As for the monitors, I'm sure some of the ones in the description must be cheaper over there - check them out.

I have a lenovo think vision p27 h-20 screen, but the problem is that the three USBs in the screen are not working. The only thing that works is the USB that sells charging only, and there is no place in the screen for the USB B like the one in the printer because the old screen had this cable and when I was I connected it to it. The USB on the screen was working, so I don’t know how to turn on the USB on the Lenovo screen.. Please reply
Check your OSD, or ensure your USB is connected properly. Other than that, not sure what to advise, maybe best contacting tech support as I'm not it :)

Can you help me cause I got this monitor but when ever I move in a game it highlights things in white and I don’t know how to fix it
No idea, best asking tech support!
Would you recommend getting a 240hz if for example in valorant I never hit 240 consistently and plays around 160 fps?
A 240hz would feel a little more fluid (that's beside the input lag and response time), but indeed you might not be getting the full benefit if you're not really achieving that framerate.
U say the response time is sluggish but the response isn't actually how fast the monitor reads to ur movement its how fast the grey to grey time is
Thankfully, it's not my first time doing a monitor review :)

May i ask you a question? So my country is in Indonesia and my family not recommended to buy something from international because some kind of problem with visa or whatever is that. This monitor have the cheapest 240 Hz in my marketplace (Indonesia) and the different prices between Lenovo and Asus is around 100$ should i take this one or the asus. I just use it for competitive gaming and my monitor that i use right now is 144 Hz. Can you still recommend which one do i buy??
I'd recommend the Asus if you're going to be wanting to upgrade to a true comp gaming monitor.
Which 144hz monitor do you have? And why are you going for 240hz?
@@TotallydubbedHD so my monitor right now is msi 24 inch 144 Hz and i want to buy 240 hz really just for gaming competitive like valorant other battle royale i mean like if i want to buy the asus one (vg249qm) i should add another 100$ which in my country is really not worth it for the price if you just get the same thing with a little bit difference. For an additional, is it really make a big difference feeling between lenovo 240 Hz and Asus 280 Hz? If it's really have a big difference maybe i need to reconsider my choise.

It's on sale for $200 It's the cheapest 240hz monitor I can find, should I pull the trigger on this or a do you think the viewsonic xg2405 144hz is a much better pick? Or should I just buy a 144hz monitor you listed above? Not willing to pay for more than $300 for a 240hz since my main display is an ultrawide.
That's a good price, but still wouldn't fundamentally recommend it. Check the description for my suggestions.
Hi. Great comprehensive review. I was wondering if you could recommend this monitor for a Lenovo Legion 10300h 1660ti laptop for fps (mainly Bf4, V and maybe 2042 if they fix it :)) or if not can you suggest any alternatives (24 inch fhd only) for under £300 or less. I'm not a competitive gamer, however I do like to stand half a chance of getting a couple of shots in before my head gets blown off. Any help is appreciated as I am very confused. Thank you.
Hi again. I've just seen your review of the AOC 24G2U and as far as I can tell it seems to fit the bill. Does it still stand up as the best sub £300 gaming monitor today? Thank you. :)
Hi, I hope you don't mind me answering. I've had this monitor for a couple of weeks and it's great. I have an MSI GE66 Raider with an i7 11800H and RTX 3070. I hit 240fps in all of the games I play on the highest settings at 1080p. A monitor can only help if your system allows it (to hit 240fps). You have a great laptop in the Lenovo Legion 5 but I'm afraid if you're not hitting, 240fps consistently, there is no need to get a 240hz monitor as you will still be playing at X fps on a 240hz screen. If I were you, I would go for a 144hz or even 165hz monitor as from what I've heard your laptop can hit at least 144/165fps meaning a 144/165hz monitor will give you a better experience. This can save you £100s whilst also getting a better experience gaming. HOWEVER, if you are looking to upgrade your system in the future, I would invest in the Legion Y25 or other 240hz monitors so that you don't have to worry about if a monitor will be good enough for your system.
I'd suggest looking at a BenQ ZOWIE 144hz monitor or an LG UltraGear one.
I do apologise if this isn't the answer you are looking for but I hope it is some kind of help.

Indeed, would suggest the AOC in the description, especially as you're not a competitive gamers, 240hz might be lost on you.
If you were a hardcore comp gamer, I'd then suggest the other AOC (24G2ZU) in the description, as that's under £300, too.
Long story short, save yourself a bunch of cash and spend around £180ish on the 24G2U.
Another BIG thing to consider, especially given the higher refresh rates is the port versions you have from your laptop's GPU. A lot of people forget about this...but I made a video explaining resolution and refresh rates; would suggest looking at it for some more context: czcams.com/video/daHrqIFieBU/video.html

@@Dr86Jones you'llg et lower ppi at 27" vs 24-25", but it's fine to some people - personal preference there.
If you can please respond to this I have this monitor and it works perfectly fine but when I load up any game it turns black screen but other than that everything else is fine but as soon as I load any game it’s just instant black screen
No idea, sorry!
Exactly, I’m having that same problem
i guess the In game resolution is different than the monitor resolution , this useally happens when fps players plays streteched resoltion for exemple
I have a 3080 and this monitor sounds great for the price. 240hz 1ms, excited to receive it. (yes i jumped the gun)
Coolios!
It literally doesn’t work
How is it!
@@rossrichards0n really good, no complaints with the color. 240hz is exactly what I need and if you need 240hz this monitor is a good choice.
It comes with g sync right, about to buy one on amazon but says nothing about g sync
Bought it with my new PC. It's amazing!
Glad you're liking it.
I have this monitor n it’s okay for the most part but I it turns off abruptly because of the screen time, and I have no idea how to deactivate that.
Shouldn't be the case. Maybe it's because you have G-Sync running?
what about this monitor and the new Dell S2522HG ? can you make a review about it please ?
Not tried the Dell, so can't comment!
The best choice between lenovo y25-30 and Benq EX240 For the same price. THANKS
Different type of monitors.
Would u buy a 144hz AOC C24G1 1ms IPS for 110€ or a 240hz Lenovo from the video for 155€?
Don't think the G1 is an IPS, but could be mistaken. As for your question, hard to say - depends on the type of gamer you are. Guess I'd lean towards the Lenovo
Aoc C24G1 is not IPS. Do not buy it!
I am currently on a ps5 and I am wondering if I should buy this as I may be getting a PC in the next few years. What do you think should I?
Did you watch the video?
yes I did from start to finish
Hello, I need your help. What monitor to chose? The y25-y25 or the aw2521hfla?
Pretty much the same, wouldn't truly recommend either
@@TotallydubbedHD The Alienware is 300$ and the y25 y25 is 334$. Can you find a better monitor in my price range ? My price limit would be 350$
@@viperro4542 AOC 24G2ZU, or check the description
@@TotallydubbedHD so you would get the 144hz over the 240hz?
@@TotallydubbedHD is the ghosting on the 240hz that bad
Had this monitor for nearly two years and it gets the job done however will be upgrading to the XL2566K the only issue with these cheap Lenovo monitors is that there aren't any in-depth reviews that test response times, and colour accuracy (although the colours are ass imo you have to use digital vibrance) it's good for your first 240hz panel but the tech has come a long way
Indeed, thanks for sharing
Cheap 240hz rank 1 viewsonic xg2431 rank 2 Legion y25 30 rank 3 aoc g24z2 💀
What monitor do you main?
Acer XF270HU (1440P 144hz IPS)
That monitor have audio? Because I bought it and I can't head anything
From memory, no
does it have built in speaker ?
I think so I’m not sure check in goggle
It's capped at 60hz. I can't change it in display settings. How do I change it to 240hz?
How are you connected?
@@TotallydubbedHD idk the exact name of it but its not hdmi its the other one. It looks like hdmi but its kind of like a bit was cut of
@@zienio1887 displayport, then you're connected correctly. Check your GPU settings then
@@TotallydubbedHD Ok i will check
So, would you recommend VG279Q/QM over this one?
Yes
@@TotallydubbedHD what about LG 27GN750? I tend to set my graphic settings to med to get more fps, if that helps.
Also, for less price I can get Asus VK2705-2KP-MHD which is 27inch 2k 144hz or Xiaomi XMMNT27HQ which is 27inch 2k 165hz with a supposedly very good color and response time. Between 27inch 2k 144/165hz and 27inch fhd 240+hz, which one do you recommend? I play competitive game casually, rpgs, open world game, and quite plenty of office works.
@@Rasyad95 I suggest looking at the description of this video for my suggestions
@@TotallydubbedHD in my country, indonesia, those aren't available. Benq is, but at $200 premium compared to the 2 monitor i mentioned. So my pick comes to those 2 (vk and xiaomi)
@@Rasyad95 unfortunately, I can't comment on those.
Bro saw this monitor on a deal for 140 pounds almoust new... would you buy it?
That's really cheap, but you should consider what I mentioned in the review and make your own informed decision!
