Anyone just listen to the beautiful vocals and then randomly start crying for no reason? That my friends, shows the power of making you look back and realize the good times you had with either someone you loved who broke your heart because you felt worthless, this could also be used for life in general for a slow cry as you reminisce with an old friend who you feel like you haven't seen in forever? Falsetto is just perfection and the runs make me melt inside. Thank you Dylan and Jamie for providing us with this song to just loop on repeat to understand the lyrics. For me, it's forgiveness. Good crying song. Really reminds people to hold on to those we trust and have great memories with.

The sound of your voices would sound more realistic and natural if you sang a little more distant from the microphone. Singing so close to the microphone is causing your voices to have a "microphone sound" rather than a more acoustically and environmentally realistic and natural vocal sound. I can also tell that you are using a limiter (a.k.a. compressor) that also causes a certain type of audio effect that actually distracts from the natural sound of the voice. Yes, the limiter does inhibit or prevent distortion and if utilized should be utilized with significant discretion. In my opinion, you would be better served to learn "microphone technique" to control distortion. I noticed that the one who is not wearing a hat was practicing some degree of microphone technique for a short period. The one wearing the hat seemed to have no sense of microphone technique and were it not for the limiter, the recording would have been distorted because of how close he was to the microphone and how very loudly he was singing while being too close (to the microphone). Both of you, by the way, are very talented singers and that is the reason for the content of this message to you.
When making your recordings, put your microphone on a microphone stand. Doing this will prevent microphone cable sounds and changes in the acoustic balance thereby reducing the need for limiter use.
I suggest you sing a song titled "How Do You Keep The Music Playing" by Michel Legrand and Alan and Marilyn Bergman. This is a beautiful song with flawlessly magnificent lyrics that was popular initially in the 1980s but has been revived to great success by Tony Bennett. Another song that would fit your voices well is a classic named "My One and Only Love". This is another incredibly well crafted musical composition with absolutely timeless beauty.
