MOST VIRAL PLAYERS in Midwest?! Ethan Kizer v Macaleab Rich in State Semis! Metamora v East St Louis

It's March Madness in the 2023 Illinois 3A basketball state tournament! Metamora faced East St Louis in the Final Four. Of special note were East St Louis star, ultra athletic Macaleab Rich (Kansas State) facing Metamora's viral star Ethan Kizer (South Alabama).
Metamora hadn't lost since November (first week of the season)!

My team played East Side and Macaleab Rich each of the last two years. We almost won last year. Our tallest player was 6'4. East Side's shortest starter was 6'5. Their first player off the bench was 6'10. We played Metamora over the summer and got beat pretty bad. We beat Cincinnati Woodward over the summer though. Metamora will win it again in 3A and Peoria Richwoods will win the 4A in Illinois. Collinsville will make the final 4 and keep your eye on Navontae Nesbitt and freshman David Barnes from Mt Vernon.
