These are pieces of art. I’ve always wanted one, but I’m definitely intimidated. I build Master Grade and the occasional Real Grade and I haven’t gotten into things like panel lines or painting or weathering or anything like that. I need to buy a kit I don’t care about to experiment. 😂

I just picked one up while visiting Japan. Is it possible to leave inner layers exposed? Im thinking the left arm as the first layer, left leg as 2nd layer, torso 3rd layer, right leg 4th, right arm 5th. The finished model is incredible, just seems a waste to cover all the inner stuff up

With text, you have to take care of how you word responses. It seemed a bit degrading like they should have known these things. I encourage teaching people without scaring them away from the community. We have to keep in mind there are very new people to the hobby.

You actually get a couple of fixed pose hands to choose from which in my opinion work out better for actually holding objects. The hands also have a chrome insert in them that make the joints of the fingers chrome.

The frame is plastic but the kit does use metal detail parts and such. It's an amazing kit for sure! Metalbuilds aren't kits they are figures.

Just an idea but you could probably do an exploded viewing using clear rods and such to keep areas exposed and still use all the parts

They are fixed pose and solid as a rock
