I have used both the frames and stand from Omanik for years and they certainly are the best out there!

Thanks for the demonstration. It was very helpful in setting up the frame. Unfortunately I purchased the 30 cm bars and after getting it assembled i realized it was so high that i couldn't reach underneath for two handed stitching at the top of the pattern. I am waiting for shorter bars to come in stock at my local shop but was wondering if you have any tips on how i might make these work.

Great and helpful video. Thank you. I’ll be attempting to frame my fabric for the first time. Wish me luck!

Hi from Ottawa, Canada. Do you release the tension when you are not working on the project? Some people say to release the tension at night, some people say no need to release the tension. Great explanation! Merci!!!

Hi Michele! Thank you very much for your appreciation of my work! As for the answer to your question it depends on your anxiety level. I do not recommend leaving really tight tension for a long period of time. But on the other hand, if it's your running WIP, it's ok. So if you take it away for a night, you can do nothing. But if you need to put it away for a month, then you can release screws just a little by one light movement. I don't really think you should worry about this. Especially if you use side stretchers. If you do not use side stretchers, then there is a possibility you will have a distortion over time.

Thankyou for the video. 2 questions : which is the name of your program for having a paper chart in the tablet? And without stretchers which is the best way of getting the correct tensión?

Hi Ana! Thank you for your comment! 1. The name of the application is Cross Stitch Saga, but for this application you will need a special file as usual paper or pdf format do not work with this app. But there are special people who do this. And there is an application that works with paper patterns and pdf: Markup R-XP by Kewin Lawson Smith Limited.
      2. There is no perfect tension without side stretchers! ;) But if you want some other variants, there are some invented by cross stitchers like threads and sticks used as additional stretchers from the side of the canvas.

I have been considering ordering this frame. I am an extreme cross country stitcher, so watching this, it tells me that the side stretchers are likely not a good idea since I roll my fabric to different positions frequently. How bout’ the frame in general though? Is it quick to roll fabric up and down?

Hi Amy! If you are worried about the tension of the canvas, that it can be distorted, then it's really quick just to release screws a bit to make tension weaker. But if you are talking about unmounting the frame, it's not really quick. But the tension will be so wonderful that you don't want to change your WIP!
