YES! Dawi is my faction, would love to see more disspossed builds in the future.
Immersion immediately broken. As if Ghur had a place called *THE* Valley of Bones. Every valley is a valley of bones in Ghur.
Oliolli3 maybe this is The Valley of Bones North East?
It’s actually The “Alley” of Bones, common mistake for people new to Ghur.
@theswedishtroll it is less well known than the Parkway of Bones however
Gotta love the how many different unique and fun armies the Cities book can produce! this shorter battle was an easier watch too!
Ocular visions xD "LET ME GRANT YOU.... THE GIFT... OF NORMAL HUMAN SIGHT!"
YESSSSS!!! More slaves to darkness, I'm so happy right now!!
Yes!!!!!! Duardin!!!!! Can’t wait to bring mine down next month hopefully!!!
Also I think you got the guns on the gyrocopters mixed up the steam gun is on the single and the brimstone gun is on the 2 man unit, still a minor error but the brimstone cannon looks cooler 😋
I'm pretty new to your channel but by far you two are my favorite people to watch do battle reports
KAZAKA KAZAKHIT KAAA!!!!
Yes! More cities of sigmar!!
Yes absolutely do the game type you discussed at the end where you and your teammate swap games/armies!!
Would using ironbreakers instead of hammerers also be viable?
1st, the weapons on the gyrocopters you got the wrong way around, 2and, when attacking with a unit all attacks are made at the same time so both gyrocopters would get the same amount of attacks with the steam guns
What model is that you are using for the Warden King and What is that model Steve used for a sorcerer?
The model used for the Warden king is one of the anvil guards from Thorek Ironbrow`s Anvil of Doom model released in 2000. It came with 2 anvil guard models, this was one of them.
That Sorcerer is just a very old model. Look up "Maynard Flux, Champion of Tzeentch" and you'll see someone's hobby project painting up old chaos minis.
Nice game of concede-hammer, lol 😆
I am not sure how I feel about how swingy the AoS battles can be (not just yours but at my LGS as well). On the one hand, not knowing what could happen can be exciting but that double turn can just trash any strategy you try to employ. It was a fun game to watch though!
And I would love to see some of those ideas at the end hashed out and attempted! :)
I like 'em swingy. What I hate are games decided on turn one.
Is it just me, or has sound been really weird in the recent MWG videos? The sound levels are really low (have to adjust volume between these and other videos), and the people sound as if they're in a room nextdoor.
Anyway, back to watching the video...
Gammolol
I keep hearing that but as a iPhone w/ headphones viewer I haven’t really noticed a difference.
I wear headphones as well but definitely noticed a diffrence. The volume seems low
Yeah watched on tv couldn't hear it barely
On my phone no problem
i feel like in every AOS battle report Steve's in he's just like lemme play with one hand tied behind my back so that i can make it a challenge.
This one is a great game but his BoC games are always like this.
That's cool! At the start of this video, i thought the scenery was CGI!
legit would love to see that switching between 2 games idea come to fruition.
Thanks guys!
pls remind steve that he is playing for our entertainment.
When the Hammer Falls.
What model did they use for the Chaos Sorcerer Lord on foot?
I got excited befuddled.. I thought the voice over was Dave... I miss Dave
Is it just me or has the audio quality on this channel really tanked recently
It has. Steve is a bit of a marblemouth anyway (ie he says "he's going to Ocular Vision himself" but it comes out "buzzbuzzocklarvizinhmzelf") but with this audio quality he's mostly unintelligible.
He's good guy and an interesting player, but I wish he would slow down and enunciate more.
Grognards: There's no tactics in AOS!
*Quarter of video is postgame tactics debate*
What terrain peace is this ?
Not sure if I'm misunderstanding your intention with Unquestioned Resolve, can't you only use it on a Cultist Unit? (See 13:43)
Glad you're trying our Ravagers, I'm still trying to figure out what works with them.
Around 20:20 you rerolled attacks for the mount, does Eternal Vendetta apply to mounts?
i love the disspossed but the need more variety of units
Why is the battlemage on 32mm? It should be 25. Also was there a reason to not do a meeting engagement scenario designed for 1k points?
vanguard is a 1000 point matched play game by design (it's been in there since the first GHB), because so many of GW's follow up books are cut and pasted by someone who had no hand in the original (it's starting to feel as though many being handed these task haven't played the games at all), the 4x4 table was overlooked, but has always been what it's played on. when this happened, players who played the previous versions of vanguard just continued playing on a 4x4, though the newest GHB gives the impression that vanguard is played on a 4x6, and you can, but it doesn't really make sense.
meeting engagements wasn't designed for AOS (at all), it was thrown in as an after thought, it's the standard operating system for warcry. as more and more pages fall out of each new GHB (factions getting their battletome), something has to replace it (to keep the page count up to justify the cost), rather then using resources to develop something "new", they just threw in what they had (warcry and changed a few keywords). don't get me wrong, i've played plenty of meeting engagement games (first 6 months of the new GHB), it's fine (for the most part) we use it (since) as a wild card mission in our matched play escalation league games (round 2 when we jump from 1000 to 1250 or round 3 from 1250 to 1500) we can only draw our meeting engagement list form our matched play lists, but after a few games it becomes pretty clear that they did no accounting for the AOS factions in the game when it comes to composition, special deployments, summoning, terrain rules, base sizes vs deployment and deployment zones, or faction special rules.
matched play, vanguard and meeting engagements are both 1000 point games, but they're very different. i enjoy meeting engagements, my hope is that GW takes a wholehearted go at meeting engagements (path to glory and skirmish for that matter) in this summers GHB, i like meeting engagements, it just seems a little under cooked at the moment, i'd like to see it fall in line with matched play a little more or become it's own thing entirely.
Yay!
I really like these smaller 1000 point games!
Couple errors. Manticore rerolled his missed hits first turn. Shouldn't have.
Also you can't move a model out of base contact with another model which happened a few times.
Manticore had a trait for the rerolls, and you can move models out of base contact it's 1" for coherencey, however I believe when Steve was removing marauders in the middle he would have lost half the unit on right due to them being more than 1" away from the rest of the unit
@@arazlam4754 Removing the minis out of coherency happens in the battleshock phase.
@@itcamefromthedeep aah thanks mate, I thought it was immediately with aos 😅
Comment for the Machine God.
I thought you couldn’t cast the same spell more than once? So why take the same spell on both sorcerer lords?
Daniel Aguirre say one of them dies, he still has the option to cast it :) in my skaven list I have two engineers with more more more warp power incase one dies :)
I thought thats only for matched play or tournaments but I could be wrong.
James Snyder I could be wrong too. I’ll double check rule book
Fun but too damn expensive!
DO IT DO IT
where can I find this skeleton terrain?
It's mostly custom made out of styrofoam and Hallowe'en props. Adam from Green Leaf Terrain made it for us.
@@miniwargaming Cool, thank you.
wrong guns on the gyrocopters
9 minutes, 2 ad breaks. Wtf youtube
Don't talk about it just play it out, it's a dice game.
"Cities of Sigmar" or also called by GamesWorkshop "How to make the Empire troops playable without spending a pound with the company?"
987th
God I hate the double turn mechanic...
There is a reason why the majority of this channel's content is 40k.
I'm shocked. Another game decided by a single dice roll in a game where hundreds of dice were rolled! What great game design
Yeah its absolute shit, a game for retards
Ok boomer

And yet it is still better than Warhammer Fantasy for virgin losers who want to pretend they live in the middle ages with a boring and dated rule system. Thank god they blew that world up.
