My TT (8s) has intermittent working sometimes it works perfect sometimes it stops and I have to shut car lock with remote then it works fine. Any info?

You didnt try unscrewing the pressure release screw on the pump inside the trunk? Its much easier then taking all those bolte off!!

This is the Audi TT 8S and the roof is driven by 2 motors, it is not hydraulic like the 8J

Should of been made of aluminium or steel
