The T&P roughly went from New Orleans up to Shreveport, LA to Marshall, TX where the main line from Texarkana was met. Then to Dallas and Ft. Worth to Midland-Odessa to a connection with the SP near Kent, TX, and by trackage rights to El Paso, TX.

I live 130 miles southwest of Penwell, always a fan of T&P stories. This wasn't something I'd heard of before. Another commentor noted an out of place car, shown at 6:30 in the video. It's a 1970 or '71 Ford Torino or Falcon. It's possible (being as it's in west Texas) that the warehouse wasn't demolished after the fire, and was still standing in the early '70's, when that photo was taken. Just a guess, now for some research on my part😁

Interstate Commerce Commission and National Transportation Safety Board records list no full incident investigations against the name of the T & P in Odessa between 1952 and 1982. However, full investigations are/were generally reserved for incidents with deaths or multiple serious injuries.
      EDIT: Sorry, posted before watching

2 Mack B series, and an American LaFrance 700 series. All would be about 1000 gallons per minute.

6:43 I have no idea what kind of car that is but it sure doesn’t look like something built in the 50s
