- Hi guys! Welcome back to my channel, today i wanted to show you a part of my day that i love. Visiting a temple in Thailand, Praying at the temple, and eating good food in a local restuarant :) Its been 10 years since i first moved to Thailand, and its now my home, i will never be moving home & im fully embraced into thai culture. Hope i gave some good info in the temple and please dont forget to try all the foods i mentioned! See you in the next video :)

A little bit about me🔽🔽 :
I first of all travelled to thailand when i was 19 years old, i never intended on living here for my adult life but i felt so attached to thailand since day 1 of coming. Many factors leading me to permanently move to thailand. I lived in phuket for 7 years and moved to bangkok 2021 during covid lockdown. Ive now been living in thailand for 10 years. My husband is thai, and he owns a tattoo shop in bangkok. We love travelling, eating thai food & exploring places that are untouched, local & cheap 😄 follow my journey of exploring thailand, and other countries we end up on our travels! 🩷

@@Emilysrichala. I am British but since my 30s in Thailand. Last five years more NZ based and in and out of Bangkok a lot with work. My daughter finished education in NZ. But think of Thailand as ‘heart’ home really. Third culture family!! You probably understand I think! My daughter got her first tattoos in NZ. Not sure of her plan for more. Eeek 5555. Maybe spot you both on a trip sometime. Take care.

why would u go home when food and cost of living is 5 times cheaper and a room in a fancy apartment is barely $500 a month.....like there is no reason to exist anywhere else on earth.....the money u save living there can be spent on
Right?! I agree with you totally. As soon as I touched foot in this country I knew it was my forever home, there’s no comparing with U.K. especially 😂 more spending money to travel & explore this wonderful world 🙏
Bear in mind that Thai people's salaries are 5 times less than in western countries, and that all imported 0:20 foods and goods are a lot more expensive in Thailand. So,Thailand is cheap if you are an ex pat living there on a western salary only.

I landed for the first time in Bangkok in 2022.
One week later i was sitting on the beach watching the sunrise with 2 soi dogs Sleeping next to me and that was the moment i knew and felt that this is my real "home". I'm 39 and traveled around the world the last 10 years and Thailand just have it all. 2 years later i have a wonderful wifey (from Nakhon Pathom) and living 6 months per year in Thailand.
The more time i spend in Thailand the harder it gets to fly back to Europe. Once you get involved in Thai Culture and feel comfortable in it it's very difficult to adapt again to the western way of thinking, living and working.

Thailand and Hawaii are the only place where you feel home even as a visitor. There are many paradise island but something will always remind you that you're a foreigner but Thailand and Hawaii makes you feel like home❤

When speak to the older person or in general society, Thai woman often use noo (หนู) which consider to be more polite and modestly. Use ฉัน to the younger or with friends.
Yes I’ve also seen most thai people using this. I normally just say my name ‘Emilyไปทำงานนะคะ‘ ประมาณนี้ใช้ได้ไหมคะ☺️

The lovely and famous Wat Bang Phli Yai Nai in the video, about a kilometre away from the equally impressive Wat Bang Phli Yai Klang, an hour outside Bangkok, and both well worth visiting - allow 2 to 3hrs.

Means a lot to me 🙏🫶🏻 I would say that I adapted east when I first came at 19 years old, because I was younger & open to learning new things, I am so lucky I was able to be around many thai people, friends, I learnt how they lived and I was so interested in it - I felt like I was adapting into a thai local and I felt so great about it - like I becoming ME. I feel like I was born to live in Thailand and become thai eventually. I love this country & the people are what make it special
