BVNDIT came back with “VENOM,” ready to deeply seep into your soul with a powerful charm.
After a 2-year break since the 【Carnival】 album, which presented colorful and liberating music, BVNDIT’s new album 【Re-Original】 shows what it’s like when BVNDIT can truly be itself. The message of the third mini-album 【Re-Original】 is that we should be confident and proud in presenting ourselves to the world just like BVNDIT’s meaning, “Be Ambitions and Do It.” This album consists of five tracks that strongly reflect BVNDIT’s own unique identity.
The title track “VENOM” is an EDM hip-hop song that exudes a strong, explosive energy with its groovy and aggressive bass line. The charming lyrics bring out a bold, unconfined vibe. In the hybrid hip-hop song “JIGGY,” the funky guitar line and catchy brass line stand out. The song “AWAKEN” takes you to the mood of a late night at a festival with its passionate Latin rhythm. The lyrics of the last song, “DON’T MESS WITH ME,” deliver an impressive message about moving away from being weak in the past and being born again as a strong person.
This third mini-album shows the journey that BVNDIT took to find its own identity and music style during the long 2-year break and how the group has taken a new leap forward. This album isn’t simply about trying something new. It’s about declaring a new start. That’s why the album is titled 【Re-Original】, which implies BVNDIT going back to its original identity intended.
The music video of the title track “VENOM” tells the story of resisting the frames in the world filled with ironic hearts and facing a new beginning at a point where everything seems to come to an end. The music video shows the new starting point for BVNDIT by sharing how the group gladly takes one step forward at a time motivated by true love even when the road ahead may not always be straight or easy.

See for example Dreamcatcher, recently they always have big sales on their albums, like they always reaching 100k mark per week, and I think that’s the reason why their agency can’t and won’t disband them, because somehow they are gaining profit through their sales.

Been following this girls since debut, met them through virtual fansign during Jungle Era, waited for and supported them through their hiatus, and now... I'm so sad.
But ultimately, it's probably better for them to be done with that company.
After two years of hiatus and not knowing what's going to happen with their career, with the risk of MNH putting them through that again, at least leaving will give them some form of control over what they do. Poor girls. They deserved so much more.

I've often said you can train a voice to be strong but you're born with tone. Sometimes there's one voice in a group which stands out that might not be the main vocal but it grabs you - for me Seulgi and Hwasa did that - but what made me love Bvndit was there were multiple distinctive vocal tones which made the overall tone unique.
